So any updates on the negotiations between Comcast and Dish, Only 15 days to go before the Rockets 1st preseason
So it I sign up for LP TV, is there a way to bypass the blackout? Last season I used LP broadband, the pics were not that smooth, some blurring, delaying etc. My internet speed was 12Mbps BTW.
Yes, you can use a VPN to bypass the blackout. 12mbps should be sufficient. If it's choppy it could be the overall processing capabilities of your computer. You can also try a different browser. I had lots of issues last year using Chrome with League Pass. Firefox and even IE worked great for LP
I wish somebody would post a good VPN tool how to separately bypass: 1. LP broadband 2. LP for TV, in my case U-verse. Somebody might have posted that info somewhere here, but I can't recall.
Will you be streaming with firstrowsports again (free) or signing up with ballstreams (www.ballstreams.com)?
I signed up for ballstreams as a birthday present to myself and so far I really like it. The quality is excellent even over a wireless connection. Looking forward to being able to watch any game I want on my schedule. The money came out of my account quickly and for the right amount. I will let you guys know what my experience is like for a live game.
I don't man! Relaaaaax. I'll say it one last time lol, I know HockeyStreams from prior experience because some friends used it for 2 years, and it was pretty legit. So I'm pretty excited for their version for NBA's streams......... it's sweet and cheap and legit. Sheeeeeeeeeesh, haha. I live in Houston man, not the Netherlands haha. If they were paying me or if I was working with them, I'd have my marketing hat on and I would have made everybody on here a BallStreams member by now! Haha... jokes aside, what service will you be using this NBA season?
This is like going through Dante's 9 circles of hell. I'm well past the first (limbo) and well into the 5th (anger).
If Dante could have foreseen entities like Comcast, he would have come up with a tenth circle of Hell; and Dante would have led Les Alexander to stand at its entrance and say to him, "Questo posto è dove si deve bruciare se si firma il contratto con Comcast." (This place is where you shall burn if you sign that contract with Comcast.)
There's a link to the story about the Astros having 915 viewers for a game last week on Drudge Report today. Maybe being a national mockery (rather than just a local one) will shame CSN into getting a deal done.
It's worse than that. http://blog.chron.com/sportsupdate/...en-nobody-watched-astros-indians-game-sunday/
I love that organization most responsible for stalling these negotiations (e.g. Astros demanding more) is also the organization that brings the least valuable product to the table (if not the least valuable product possible). If this deal gets done, it is going to be Dwight Howard and the Rockets dragging the Astros along for the ride. I hope Crane and company go bankrupt.
Even with Direct TV League Pass last year, the Rockets were still blacked out...I wonder if choosing the road broadcast will make a difference.
