I think he frees Jesse and lets him live. A sort of peace is made between the two before it all ends. I think it's what the fans want and they'll give it to us. Walt gets one last friend, makes one thing right before he dies. Kept hearing Aaron Paul talk about how Walt and Jesse's relationship was beyond repair. Possibly done to throw people off.
I think a substantial life insurance policy would accomplish the same security to his family as the drug money. *FLASHBACK Skylar: Who is that? Walt: It's Jake ... from State Farm... My ending would include Walt making a deal with Lydia. He exchanges the blue sky recipe for asylum in the Czech republic and the murder of Jack's Neo Nazis. With the Nazi's dead Jessie makes a deal with the DEA that allows him to raise Andrea's son. His story to them clears Walt of Hank's murder. In the final montage (set to James Morrison's "Call the Police") we see Skylar getting the insurance check from Jake at State Farm, Huell sitting in that empty hotel room, Marie placing flowers on Hank's grave and Walt teaching chemistry at a high school in Prague. After the main credits, we fade into the Grey Matter guy smoking a cigarette poolside. His wife screams "someone help us!" as he coughs up pints of blood. We fade into the rest of the credits. END SERIES
good job good effort I'm kinda leaning this way as well. It may be more about 'waking' that pride up.
The Schwartz's were on Charlie Rose doing damage control because their association with Walt was affecting the stock prices. That's why they threw him under the bus. If Walt can somehow make a public statement that proves otherwise (slip documents to a newspaper) then it would definitely hurt the company. Maybe he reveals that personal reason why he left and that's what does the job.
Jesse knows about Ricin. If Jesse got sick, the first thing he'd think of is that Walt poisoned him and he'd get treatment for that. I think he's the least likely to get the Ricin. It has to go to somebody who's not going to suspect that they have "flu like symptoms" because they've been poisoned.
The blue meth still existed in the months after Walt retired and before Jesse started cooking again. When Lydia came complaining to Walt, she complained about the purity, not the color. Declan's cook couldn't get the color either so they added food coloring. They did that when they were copying Walt's product before and Walt knows that. As far as Walt knows, it's always stayed blue whether through natural or artificial means. Hearing that it's blue shouldn't trigger anything. That fact that it's blue doesn't mean **** because Walt knew that there was substandard meth that was still blue.
There's still a lot of storylines that need to be tied up. This finale is going to be (has to be) action packed from the start. I wished it was 2 hrs.
This is all I want. Jesse and Walt, friends again. I remember the simple days where they just sat around and cooked meth
The fact that its back in Europe, however, does mean something. Lydia told him that the Europeans would no longer accept a sub-standard product, and that he was "putting her in a box" by not cooking for her. I feel the whole "some meth is appearing in Europe again" statement during the rose interview was thrown in for a specific reason... he didn't need to say specifically that, but once he did, Walt should be able to put 2 & 2 together to realize that Lydia now has a viable product again.
Walt has just done too much for Jesse to ever forgive him. Let his girlfriend die of a drug OD, poisoned the kid, pointed him out under the car, indirectly got his previous girlfriend capped in the back of the head by Todd. I can see him freeing Jesse to do a good deed on the way out, but no chance in hell is Jesse going to say they're cool.
Y'all got it all wrong. Brock goes psycho and seeks revenge. He lures everyone into a chucky cheeses and blows the building up. He then changes his name to "lil Tuco" and begins his empire.
Perhaps Walt knows that the Russians and even Lydia would never accept inferior meth. Perhaps adding food coloring automatically decreases it's purity. You cant have blue meth and 90+% purity... and thus Walt puts it together. Not saying that isn't a stretch.
The show is all about subtle hints that lead to bigger things. Two that are going to be used in my opinion was when Uncle Jack took off his mask. It's going to setup either Jesse or Walt (most likely Walt) cooking up something that explodes, smokes up and kills him. And as others have mentioned Lydia's need for Stevia. They don't have to put that in the dialogue but they always do when they have a chance. Those are two things I think that will come into play.
The Schwartz' message was just that. They aren't playing a sudden role in the last episode. There's been way too much mention/foreshadowing of Lydia's Camomile Tea and her sugar supplement for it not to be in a top 3 list of uses of the ricin. I find it odd that Lydia is not really part of too many people's theories of outcomes. I think she will play a big part. Walt can get Todd out in the open if he grabs Lydia. Todd has a thing for her. And he can stop the blue from flowing to Europe if he offs Lydia. Remember, she's the distributor.
