    Why are we going to trade our best QB?

    Think Jacksonville will give us a conditional 7th rounder for Schaub?

    No one has any idea how good a QB Keenum is going to be. That's why the draft is so worrisome. Do the Texans need to draft a QB if Keenum can be Schaub's eventual replacement? Obviously not, but what if Keenum is all hat and no cattle and the Texans fail to pick up a nice prospect who falls in their lap in the 3rd or 4th round?

    You obviously didnt watch Keenum while he was in college like I did. I went to every home game and wore my Keenum Jersey every time.

    He has IT.

    Teddy Bridgewater doesnt have IT.
    Manzel doesnt have IT.

    IT is something that you either have or you dont. You cant learn IT. You are born with IT.

    Keenum has IT. Only a few QBs in the league have it. Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Brady have IT.

    I'm not saying trade Keenum. Far from it. If the Texans are eliminated from the playoffs, I'm hoping both Yates and Keenum get some PT.

    I still dont understand why they made Keenum the 3rd string and TJ the backup.

    We have seen everything that TJ can do, and he is a career backup. No further.

    I am a huge fan of Case, but he has no regular season experience and you have a QB who has tons and is paid big bucks. The problem is that he is not very good, and I suspect that an inexperienced third string back up MIGHT be much better. You are right about one thing, Case has IT; he is a winner, he is clutch, he has incredible pocket presence, and he is mobile. Schaub will be allowed to bumble through this season and if he comes up really short AGAIN, this might be the turning point. Not likely but possible. If they let Case go to another team, they will regret it forever. He is special.

    Blind loyalty, it is the way Uncle Bob rolls. Apparently he became rich with long time employees, so he thinks it works the same way in the NFL. He would be wrong.

    Actually, it does work that way with the NFL.

    Every time you get a new coach, you have to get new players too. People thinking that we'd just get a new coach and everything will be better don't pay much attention to the NFL.

    Maybe if we got Belichick since he's the most versatile coach I've ever seen coach.

    The decision to make Yates the backup is pure 100% Kubiak at his most Kubiak'ness. Selecting Yates was the safer choice and wouldn't rock the boat.
