I also want to add, the officiating was terrible this game. Apparently the Ravens came out in the 2nd half and played perfect. Were they flagged at all in the 2nd half? I counted once and that was when the game was decided.
I blame Gary "I don't have a Cluebiak and Played Phillips"!! It's obvious teams have figured them out. All of a sudden, they stall on offense and can't stop anyone from scoring.
The "Kubiak/Schaub" factor is going to rise up from time to time. Today was one of those days. They are the "edge" that cuts the wrong way. Some days "they" can't be overcome no matter the level of talent that surrounds them. That was a very, very winnable game that was bobbled, bumbled, and mismanaged. Oh why, oh why can't Uncle Bob see the obvious? Two weeks in a row that Schaub has thrown a pick six.
LOL! Week 6 Sam Bradford? Week 7 Alex Smith? Week 11 Terrelle Pryor Week 12 Blaine Gabbert Week 14 Blaine Gabbert Week 17 Jake Locker
Wouldn't say outstanding. Way too many penalties. Still gave up the opening score of the second half. It was a team loss, and you could certainly pin more of it on the offense and special teams... but the defense still has some work to do as well.
Giving up one touchdown is pretty outstanding. If you go into any game and say "We're going to give up a single TD" then there is not much more to do. Sure you can say stop them from getting FGs too but at the same time the offense has to put pressure on the Ravens Offense as well. Putting up 0 points drive after drive and the Ravens are just fine with taking FGs.
The Texans are a passing team with a wannabe running mentality. They have no identity and it is pretty obvious. The Texans should sling the ball around a lot more and run off of it. Schuab needs to get in a rhythm to be effective.
