I'd rather Reed not play. You shouldn't have to wait until hours before a game to make a decision. The choice needs to be more clear cut IMO. Playing on a bad surface too!! Don't play him.
Are you being sarcastic? It's a safe bet the Texans expected Reed to give them at least one productive season. As of right now, all he's doing is taking up a valuable roster spot.
It's almost been a given all week that Reed would be playing. The Ravens have said they were preparing as if he were playing. He could have played last week. Anyone in Baltimore knew he would be. It's just nice to hear confirmation. My take: Reed didn't want to be limited by a snap count, which he would have been last week. Instead, he waited another week so he could start.* *This will, of course, be proved wrong if Reed is limited to a snap count today.
"I did not want my first game to be against the ravens." Overdramatic react much fanbase translation: "F you, Houston. I want to sit on my couch a couple of more games eating hostess cupcakes before hitting the field. Straight cash homie! your cash." What Reed meant more than likely: " I really thought my first game was going to be week one not week 3 against the ravens. But if the staff wants to bring me slowly, I have to do what's best." =)
the game hasnt even started and we have all this negativity. go somewhere else with that shyt. JJ and Cush with a monster game. Ed Reed with a puck 6. Lets go Texans!!!

Schaub is going to have a rough day with Duane Brown out. If the Texans play like they have, I do not see them winning. 20-24 Ravens
Ed Reed has known for a long time that he would start week 3...He was also ready to go week 1, if needed. (remember the Andre Johnson comment that Reed would be ready to go by the season opener?). Had we had Baltimore, SF, or Seattle on the schedule for week 1 or week 2, Reed would have been on the field. Because we were playing the Chargers and Titans, the consensus was to keep Reed out to make sure there were no lingering issues. The team took a conservative approach, but the way it was presented was as if Reed was slow in returning. It was annoying hearing all of Kubiak's conservative comments regarding Reed's health, when all along, the guy was ready to roll. As for the concerns of Reed playing on the turf...he's been healthy for a while now and wont be any healthier by waiting another week.
Almost played means he wasn't ready. I just wonder if Reed would still play if it wasn't vs the Ravens.
Sounds like BAL is the main reason he's playing, not health. If he'd been 100 for the season opener, he would've played. Hopefully everything work out.
I am at work, boss isn't here. I am in need of the best stream possible for this game. Somebody help a fellow Clutchfans member out!
Why does it matter if reed is playing on the turf? And etc... He played there for the last 10 years or so... That ish don't effect him.
