Let's Talk Meth Damon I find myself liking this character more and more We reminds me of Gus in a way Gus was the ultimate manager/Owner Meth Damon is the best MANAGE YOUR MANAGER in the biz I watched the Scene with Jesse again. Walt wants Jesse Dead Uncle wants Jesse Dead Meth Damon sees value in Jesse living . .. . . He had NO AUTHORITY to make it happen though So . . he steps in .. ultra polite Gives his uncle a reason His uncle gets the hint . . he may or may not buy the reason but he sees for some reason that they will discuss outside of mixed company MD wants Jesse to live. Based on history and connection he knows MD don't just makes stupid suggestions even though he does them in stupid awkward looking ways. Walter is off kilter, mad and still in Heisenberg mode. He is dismissive of the half wit MD and KNOWS he has his loyalty and that he will kill JEsse. So he agrees. I watched how he was with Lydia . . . in each case EVERYONE underestimates him and think they have him under their thumb yet he is moving pieces around the board He shot the kid. He took direct action. There was really no safe way around it. He uses his shuck and jive to 'i'm an idiot' thing to weasel out of it. But long story short. . . the kid was going to have to die and he saved his boss from having to make the decision. I know make Jesse Cook for them is 100% his idea. [No way his uncle came up with the idea IMO ... uncle is a blunt object] I think a spin off show of him would be interesting. Am I overestimating him? Rocket River
