I hear he was boo at the Dwright rally and at a club, so you are wrong. Also I don't think everyone enjoyed Lin pre-Lin.

Your perception is from a Lin fan not a Rockets fan.

Tracy McGrady gets criticized like 1 billion times more than Lin.
Yet they don't say Clutchfans hate Tracy, they'll say it to the user.

tinman, you are wrong, look at these first round playoff stats of tmac.

McGrady pissed off Rockets fans, here's my proof

Where's your proof that Rockets fans hating on Lin at a "Club"?

Go to the Club and bring a lawyer and sue them for disgracing Jeremy Lin's honor. Tell them that you are Lin fan and you think that Jeremy Lin has a target on his back and it's should be illegal for anyone at a club to boo Lin.
Tell the mayor that people should renounce their Houston residency cause someone (allegedly) booed lin at a club. Bring in Johnny Cochran and Judge Judy.

I actually saw a LOF at the SXSW premiere, she didn't even care about movie or basketball. that look in her eyes, Lin could have told her to run up the block and start making chicken sounds and she would do it.

Agree with Tinman. I have been a Rockets fan for the 28 years of my life. Lin was fine last year. He is a good person. He was a little worse than Goran...who was a little worse than Lowry.

A lot of the weird Lin environment present on the board these days is the just the paranoid nature of that crowd. They are far worse than the Yao crowd was.

Who? Never heard of him. Isn't he someone who posts anonymously on a public forum?

On occasion, you'll have an interesting or insightful thing to say. But, too often, you write these self-delusional and self-aggrandizing posts. Because of how often you do it, it's become spam and just annoying.

I think I'm part of the majority, who are more influenced by the thoughts and ideas behind the words then someone's join date on a public forum.

His low post game still needs work, Dream.

Although his 3pt shot seems to have improved.

There's a video of it in one of threads. It's so buried now it'll probably be impossible to find Lin. Lin was also boo'd in the playoffs at home. IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL.

True, but it is what it is.

What can anyone do, drive over to the facility and have Hakeem Olajuwon retract his statement? Are we going to have to tell the fervent fans of the Dream that Hakeem was lying that all of this was fluff.

Fans SHOULD BE EXCITED! Should have expectations!

In what world is it WRONG to be EXCITED LOL. I mean I can understand that thinking from people who support the Jacksonville Jaguar, the Browns, the Expos etc

Teams and fanbases that have a history of tanking and not competing in playoffs/finals etc but Houston had a great year last year and its finally relevant at the national level. People should enjoy the excitement while it lasts.

It is a public forum. You would have been correct if you said, it's not "just" a public forum, it's clutchfans, the home of Rockets fans.

I know that I'm being pedantic. But, credibility isn't all about join date or who is a "true" Rockets fan. The rah rah of a "true" fan, I can respect. But it can't replace well thought out ideas put into words or being factually correct.

It's a fact that the clutch in clutch fans references the rockets championships known as clutch city.

Its a fact that the best player in clutch city is Hakeem Olajuwon.

If that is your argument, why then have the last few posts been about how clutchfans has it out for Lin or how Lin has had the target on his back since the beginning?

Tinman isn't stressing the join date for the sake of stressing the join date. It's the fact that older members of this board with longer tenure would probably have a much better idea of how Lin was really treated since the very beginning (yes before he was even in the NBA) than some guy who joined last year and thinks the whole forum has it out for him.

Yeah, his low post game looked weak, but I think this was from before he worked with the Dream. Plus, that guy was playing some impressive D. He didn't get the nickname "the mayor" for nothing. Some of those playground legends are truly great one-on-one players.

You are a prick. A little one but a prick nontheless. Join date decides how much of a true fan you are? Why do you have to encourage this divisiveness in every post? Hakeem both accepts and encourages Lin. Does that make him a LOF?

If so, and he joined clutchfans tomorrow, does his join date make his opinions/expertise matter less?

Tinman encourages this diviseness every post because he is a troll. He will stir up arguments and thread wars all season because that's how he entertains himself. Just put him on ignore and lower your stress level.
