Time has arrived and I'm expecting a boy in January. A boy!! Hoping that I won't miss the playoffs if the Texans make it. A whole new world is waiting for us and it's scary but exciting at the same time. Am I going to want to kill my hubby in the first few months? lol Any advice is appreciated for us, first time parents! :grin:

Everyone's experiences will be different, but principles are the same. 2. Just because other people have had babies doesn't mean that they are "experienced." They're just parents "before you." 3. Get an account at www.babycenter.com - this sends you updates on what's happening inside you, how the baby is forming, what to be thinking about, lists, and stuff thereafter. 4. Don't listen to ima_drummer2k. 5. "Ojo" exists. 6. Listen to your mom. You're a reflection. 7. Listen to your mother-in-law. (I didn't say DO what she says, just listen) 8. NEVER lose hope if you're getting frustrated... have another baby to perfect your parenting skills! 9. Understand that, sometimes, your husband and you need a break. Start asking around who can be of help to babysit. 10. Hispanic?? I can help.

Sweet! Ours is February 4th. And you're right, we especially, do not expect to have him that late. What are your name options? We had trouble coming up with one as well, till we finally settled on Tyler.
