In my opinion, the order would be something like :

    LeBron
    Durant
    Howard
    Rose
    Irving
    Westbrook
    Harden
    George
    CP3
Anthony Davis (was thinking of putting Love here, and although Love is better than AD now, he plays no defense, so AD has a lot more potential).

You may think CP3 is rated a bit low, but I'd rather have Irving or Rose.

So, this isn't a list of the top 10 players in the NBA, it's based on a 'draft' , so potential plays a huge role obviously. And Kobe isn't on here obviously because he only has a few years left in the league.

Putting age into consideration, and the fact that we're doing a hypothetical fantasy draft meaning the team that picks #1 also picks #60(reverse order in 2nd round), I'd go with this order.

    1. Durant - I don't think you can put together a championship team immediately with Lebron, and he's got maybe 3-5 years left while Durant has potentially 10 prime years
    2. Lebron
3-5. Paul, Harden, Westbrook - Westbrook/Harden are toss-ups. Paul is the better win-now guy
6-7. Rose, Irving - one notch down due to injuries
    8. Dwight
    9-10. Love, George

If Wiggins is anywhere near worth the hype he's getting, I would put him #3.

    1. Durant -- Durant is 24, LeBron is 28. That's enough reason when they're this close in talent level.
    2. LeBron -- duh
    3. Harden -- Aggressive? Sure. But name a better player under the age of 25 who's not KD.
    4. Rose -- with a lot of reluctance, and only because he's age 24 and has the highest upside of any guard in the league
    5. CP3 -- the knees worry me, but he's good enough right now to place 5th
    6. Curry -- if he can stay healthy, he's not far behind Rose and CP3
    7. Westbrook -- he's still only 24, still one of the best athletes in basketball, if he ever gets his bball IQ squared away he'll be a monster
    8. Anthony Davis -- Gotta break up the guard monotony somehow. Insanely good season from a guy who was a teenager at the start of it. He will be the best big man in the NBA within the next 5 years
    9. Kyrie -- too damn many PGs on this list, but you can't deny his talent level
    10. Duh-wite -- Yup. Still has the potential to come back as a top 3 player for the next 5+ years, which would automatically put his team in title contention. Debated between him and...

Honorable Mention: Carmelo. I've never liked the guy, but I have to acknowledge he is at the peak of his abilities and had a ridiculous season with the Knicks. With the right cast of roleplayers around him he could win a title, but it would take the PERFECT situation, which he is not currently in. Tyson Chandler is a great fit with Melo though.

Also Paul MFing George should be nowhere close to anybody's top 10. That guy will never be a superstar. He's a shooting guard who can't create his own shot... enough said.

Anthony Davis should definitely be in the top 10. Hell, I could see people picking him 3rd.
