    Panic time in Washington!

I guess we have reached the point where the media heads are talking about benching RGIII. They're giving him one more week before they bench him and start Cousins.

Redskins are fine. They lost to one of the best teams in the NFL and a team that might be great (though unclear), with a QB that's still finding his comfort level post-injury. The Kirk Cousins stuff is silly - the only way he's going to rebuild his confidence is to play and get hit and all that. Redskins started out 3-5 last year and made the playoffs, so I don't think there's any panic yet.

I'm sorry but your reasoning makes no sense whatsoever. Because Wilson could have run but didn't, and instead chose to throw a slew of incomplete passes, that makes him better then Kaepernick? I don't think you can take away ANYTHING from this game regarding who is better between the two. Both defenses are strong, and are equipped to stop each other. Seattle's pass rush and secondary were just much more effective in stopping Kap last night. That was a buzzsaw that SF went into last night, and I expect them to bounce back when they face each other in the Bay Area later this season.

How does RG go from the next big thing to getting benched in just one year?

    Wilson was 8/19 for 1 td and 1 int w/ 142 yds.

Kap was 13/28 for 0 td and 3 INT w/ 127 yds. And a fumble.

Wilson overall is a better game manager and makes the huge plays downfield with his arms. He plays a much smarter game then Kap who forces some issues.

Granted Kap has a great running game but he didn't score when it counted.

RG3 never played like a pocket passer last year and had success running out of the read-option, meanwhile Andrew Luck basically had a rookie season struggling with picks.... i am glad they are abandoning the read-option with Griffin, and trying to make him a pocket passer, right now he is struggling a bit coming back from injury, but in the long run i think he'll be fine, this is basically his rookie season

Last night the Seahawks d-line and secondary were dominant the entire game. The crowd noise probably helped too. Not so with the 49ers. Wilson at least had a chance to succeed. Anyone playing QB on the 49ers was doomed to fail last night.

The Seahawks are really awesome at home but they don't bring the same intensity on the road. I bet the rematch is a lot different.

I don't know if any teams in the NFC East are fine. None of them seem to be worth much right now. 9-7 will probably win it.

Pittsburgh offense is brutal to watch.

Hell same can be said for Cincy outside of AJ Green

Andy Dalton was a train wreck in the 1st half. Bengals should be up 24-10 by now.

Roethlisberger has never been a great sit back, in the pocket, system qb, but he now seems ****ing awful at it. Considering he is healthy, I gotta blame Haley?

One of the Steeler strengths had been able to throw out no huddle offense and just drive down the field, but even that looked mediocre.

I will never understand Rooney's insistence on forcing a running game.

kevin colbert has always been good at assembling the line and finding defensive players for their schemes. wtf happened. oh well, it's one less team to worry about without the steelers.

Fear the constant patchwork for "another shot" has finally caught up to them and the bricks are now too old, overpaid with the mortar not being up to snuff.

It is not a surprise this year , but NFC seems to have more legit teams that could win a SB than AFC .
