Impossible. J/K. I went to see Pacific Rim at Studio Movie Grill and a robust woman sat next to me and was passing gas throughout the whole thing. Made my cheeseburger taste weird.
The type or quality of movie has something to do with it. Next time make your pick by theater, and select the flick you've seen the least amount of TV trailers and online ads for (ideally none).

Who still goes to the movie theatre? Y'all trying to get shot? I usually just watch movies as soon as they come out on demand at my house, or just wait for DVD.
Watched the conjuring when it was in theaters, and some girl yelled "She in the attic huh?!!" when the main character fell through 4 floors to the basement....lol. And this one dude, was screaming so loud. Kind of made the movie experience more fun, for the type of movie it was.
My wife and I now live near Westchase. Our closest options for movies are the Edwards Cinema @ West Oak Mall and AMC 30 Dunvale. And I'll drive the extra 10 miles to Edwards Greenway. "Why?" you ask. Because every time we say, "Okay, let's give it a try," the movie experience is ruined. AMC 30? We went to see "12 Years a Slave". Fingers crossed. I'm the only white guy there (and white people are the ones who should see the movie, by the way). Well, my wife's, like, 33% white. So we'll say there were 1.33 white people there. And all around us: Talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk.... Text text text text text text.... The. Whole. Frickin'. Movie. So we go see "The Hobbit 2". Edwards @ West Oaks. Fingers crossed. Action galore. Special effects. The most realistic dragon you can imagine. Kept the rest of the audience enthralled, right? Talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk.... Talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk.... Talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk.... The. Whole. Frickin'. Movie. You know, you can talk. All you want. At home. FOR FREE. Drove me crazy but it is what it is. Of course, the next day I had to call 1-800-Y-T-GUILT for a soul enema. (Joke courtesy of "In Living Color")
When I saw Paranormal Activity years ago, they made the movie so much more entertaining with their commentary.....When I saw Django Unchained....ruined it....everyone will have a good time if everyone follows the rules!
Just got out of watching Transformers 4 and this dude was talking nonstop and on his cell and when this 60+ year old white lady told him to "please be quiet" he responded with STFU old B**CH. She went for management and a cop came in and dragged him up and people started clapping he left saying "F Y'all!!!"
I've seen White guys do the same stupid crap. I find this thread offensive, by the way, and would be very happy if this particular bumped thread got locked, like yesterday.
I don't care what the OP said, Haymitch. I find the thread title offensive, and I care about what the guy said that I replied to. Clearly, he took the title literally. If there is some humor somewhere in this thread that I missed, I didn't see it in his post.
Meh .... black people do talk too much in movie theaters ..... White people like mayonnaise and small dogs.... Middle aged white guys in the suburbs wear polo shirts and secretly root against Tiger Woods and vote Republican...
As a minority, I do not suffer from white man's guilt. Therefore I find this thread entertaining and highly informative. If you are looking for something to find offensive, please find Paulftsk's thread about his alleged magnum size wanker and complain about that.
The thread has been around for a while and has quite a few replies. Looks like most were able to read/post without getting offended, so if a single post in a 9 page thread bothers you this much I think the best thing to do is ignore the thread from now on. I wonder if that's a feature these boards have? I don't know but I'd be a user.
