its a bullet hole in Walt's head. The author is claiming this is foreshadowing Walt's death. I think that's a stretch.
That is when he notices his car is out of gas. The reflection has a bullet hole in his head. Could be foreshadowing; could be nothing. I'm glad Hank is gone too. I thought the flashback was great. It showed just how far things have come since the very beginning; a carefree Jesse, a clumsy Walt, Skyler still very loving towards him. It even showed his first 'meth lie' to her. In contrast the phone conversation at the end could be his last to her.
It wasn't much of a reach to me... Skylar couldn't get a hold of Walt all day, and Marie brazenly walked in there and told her the facts. She had no way of knowing that Skylar couldn't reach Walt all day, if it was for any other reason. And, she threatened to tell Jr. then and there if Skylar wouldn't.
Huell may stay in that hotel room for the rest of his life. lol. Hank's death hit me like the death of somebody I actually knew. I can't remember the last time I was this emotionally involved in a TV show. Honestly, I'll be glad when it's over. I just can't do this much longer.
Could not agree more. As much as I don't want it to end, I need it to end. They have captured viewer emotion, anxiety and tension at a degree that puts every other show or movie that I've ever seen to shame. I think the Saul spinoff will be a perfect come-down from this. Keeps the Breaking Bad world alive while alleviating the scar from whatever dark, mind-**** of an ending that they have in store for us.
Why would they care about the tape? We are talking about the tape Walt made to blackmail Hank, correct? Maybe Jesse is referring to something else.
I actually looked at it as Walt is the devil. If you look at it, it sort of looks like Walt has horns.
He's referring to the tape they made where Jesse talks about every single thing he ever did with Walt.
Hmm im not sure if it is much of a foreshadowing with the bullet hole in the gas tank. You guys remember when he was spinning his gun in the back of his after he poisoned Brock? Id believe that more then the gas tank.
I loved the flashback, as others have said, it puts things in perspective. But to take that further, I think it has to do with the Ozymandias poem. The empire wasn't his drug money and "fame", the empire he lost was his family. The only thing that truly mattered to him this entire time. He's past the ego hangup.
This. If you recall, 1st thing Hank had Jesse do was give a detailed account of his relationship with Mr. White, and he videotaped the whole thing. Included in that tape would be mentions of Todd, and his murder of the boy following the train heist.
Doesn't have to foreshadow his actual death. It was the effective death of Walter White. He's lost is family, and forced to take on a new identity.
Think it's going to involve the Nazi and Walt's family. Marie might get killed if the Nazi go after that video, I wouldn't have any problem with Marie getting killed off.....
