I could see Lin playing QB. Running through defenses like they were butter.

At the current rate, someone will probably make a "50 Jeremy Lin vs one silverback gorilla" thread.

I actually think, had he grown up with football as a first e second sport, he'd be a great player. Not necessarily perennial pro bowler, but you don't need great speed to be a good wideout, quickness and great route running ( assuming wr) are probably more important. And he has great size already. Jerry rice and Larry Fitzgerald both ran sub 4.6's if I'm not mistaken.

Would he? No. Could he given a different life path and certain circumstances? Absolutely. At the end of the day athletes are athletes.

I watched the video of JLin as wide receiver, and it was pretty impressive...

Lin could probably play collegefootball somewhere, even if it be some division 3 school; doubtful he could play at the pro level though you never know.

We already know neither of them can take a hit. End of discussion.

Jeremy effing Football would have dominated college football.

He would have won the HeisLin trophy every year he played, no doubt about it.

He gets hurt a lot playing ball so I would expect him to get rocked playing football. A poor man's version of Michael Vick last year with all the fumbles and turnovers.

I think Lin's roommate at Harvard is a football player. He ended work for NFL China office in charge of promoting the sport in Asia. Obviously Lin played some football in college, but not at the level of making it into the college team.
