The last time the Texans gave up on a special teams player those players went on to score a quadrillion touchdowns starting from the concession stands. If Bullock gets cut by the Texans have no doubt he will be kicking 65 yard field goals for another team.

We had a kids soccer game today, so I just watched the replay on DVR - holy cow.....

The Texans do NOT make it easy on themselves.

don't freak out at halftime. that was my point. or think the game is over with 5 minutes left and down one score.

I'm not going to say they've played well... because I've seen them be the team that can do anything they want on BOTH sides of the ball (especially in the running game), and they've yet to really do that to completion this season.

However, like I mentioned in the other thread... we're not quite sure about either of the two opponents we played. San Diego was supposed to be a cream-puff... and they just beat the NFL's "hottest" new team on the road (maybe the Eagles are the cream-puffs). Today was supposed to be an easier game... and a stout defensive effort with some timely offense kept the Titans in it (and without the Texans finding their offensive rhythm late, they likely win it.) Are the Titans a .500 team? A bad team that's overachieving? Or are they a sleeper playoff team poised to go past Indianapolis, who currently looks like they've taken a step back from the "chuckstrong" momentum.

I'd love it if the Texans wiped the floor with every perceivable lesser opponent. They got close to achieving that last year prior to the Jags game... and then the wheels sort of fell off. Perhaps this year, they don't peak so early.

Then again, thus far this year has reminded me more of 2010 (where they were pretty fortunate to be 2-0), and it was really just the calm before the storm of an awful defense (finished 6-10). This team has much more talent than the 2010 one, along with playoff experience. I'm leaning towards them being a team that continues to find their rhythm throughout the season, and actually improve or gain momentum (rather than peaking).

Not trying to make excuses for Schaub's 4th quarter pick and the 3rd quarter offensive stalls, but down 8 with a few minutes to go Schaub drove us down the field for an 8 point drive, drives down the field to kick a GW field goal with under a minute (missed), and then on the first drive in OT takes the team down the field and throws the gw touchdown. With all of that, your post is a bit stupid.

Good to know that Matt Schaub can keep us in a game. And Nuke will be redzone beast for years to come.

Was I seeing things or did Wade disguise more blitzes/non blitzes pre snap?

Just as I said last week, a win is a win and I'll take it. This game once again shows that we're a good team, but perhaps a bit below championship caliber. That said, the entire AFC this year looks week beyond Denver. So we may still be the 2nd best team in the AFC.

Statistically the team the team's offense looks great, yet they squeaked by these past two games. They could just as easily be 0-2 at this point. Don't get me wrong, those were some incredible plays but it shouldn't be overlooked those interceptions and other poor decision making which lead to the deficit. With all of that, your post is a bit stupid.
