pathetic. I don't what's it's going to take for you peeps to understand that brady isn't lined up at DT nor is Rodgers. The reason why they were so successful against us is the same reason those 2 elite guys haven't won the superbowl in years. You bring pressure up the middle and they will falter. The D lines for the Giants, Ravens, Jets, 49ers, Greenbay, Patriots with wilfork, when they bring it, they will make any qb uncomfortable. It will all come down to protection and wade adjusting to any team that goes pass happy.
He needs to get some routine attempts. If he can't make those, the mental aspect could definitely be at play.

Cool it with the trash talk Pollard.
Oh, noes. The Texans took a picture of the same random guy and put it up under Garrett's name too. Who is this guy? http://www.houstontexans.com/team/roster/garrett-graham/a4bb7e8f-84b7-47d3-8524-85269c7aa5ac/
Not sure how to feel about win today. We're 2-0 going into a brutal stretch, which is better than 1-1. We're going to have to play a hell of a lot betetr the next 3 games to even go 1-2.

Holy crap, just got back and jeez was that game amazing. Kind of reminded me of that insane OT game vs the Jags last year. Crazy that so many people left early, true about any fan base but man we really have a large amount of fair weathers. Anyways, here are my thoughts: Schaub and DeAndre have major chemistry. I've never seen Schaub just lob it up like that ever, he did occasionally with Andre back in the 2009 days but that was really something unexpected with a rookie. Glad Schaub and Kubiak have so much confidence in their receivers (threw it up to Andre, DeAndre multiple times, and even Lestar once), but also probably had to do with how good the Titans coverage was. There were many plays where just nobody was open. The D looked good. Got stops when we needed them, and the Titans offense never looked very good except for that 99 yard drive. Cushing played his ass off, Watt played well, and Kareem is starting to look like our better CB. Really liking what I'm seeing out of Earl Mitchell as well, and also Mays. Tate is going to get paid next year. His amount of runs over 10 yards is tremendous, I could see him on Steelers, Packers, Cardinals, and many other teams next year. Foster had a tougher day, but also had a few nice runs where he looked like his 2010 self. Also, that touchdown and 2 point conversion combo was simply amazing Bullock. Bullock, Bullock, Bullock. I don't think he's a bad kicker, its not like he's not capable of making those and it was probably a combination of bad luck and unconfidence. That was a pretty messed up situation at the end. Regardless, 1-5 is not going to cut it, at all.
Few thoughts on the game: Much closer than needed. After a terrific start on the ground on the very first drive, I was happy and ready to switch to my books; and then once again, the defense in the beginning has been very poor, especially the run defense; allowed for Jake Locker to get a TD(aided by a terrible hands to the face play by #99) Then the Titans defense stepped up and played excellent defense up front, totally stalling out the Texan offense...shocked that the Texans missed so many opp's to put up point on the board with 2 missed FG before the half...10-7 Titans. I figured that the Texans would be charged up in the 2nd half, and the defense started making better plays and tackles...Once the Texans took the lead thought the offense was back at it again....Defense started making stops and tackles and that safety was huge!!!!!(i dont know what the announcers were talking about, but i was under the impression that the ball has to be out off the goal line before the knee comes down to avoid a safety. Replays clearly showed the ball at the goal line while CJ2k knee came down in the endzone). After another stalled drive, Locker caught fire(and KJ25 lost his mind) and started nailing his receivers and routes...after being at the Texans 1 yard line, Locker just made plays leading to a 99 yard drive and Titans lead 17-16. Setting up for a crazy 4th quarter and OT comeback win for the Texans... 2-0 i guess we all take it, but a critical Matt Schaub INT, Kareem Jackson having a bad game, and missed FGs by our Rookie-> almost cost us a game in a relatively weak division. I like the fact that we are winning (something good and winning football teams do even if they play $hitty...remember our fortune before we were a playoff team???) but we need to play well next week against the Ravens. PS: No Ray Rice(think he has a significant non contact injury) and we possibly might not have AJ80...The Texans should win, but who knows...
Damn. He must not be that sentimental about his 2 years with the Texans. Regardless, his interception on Brady in week 17, 2009-10 season is still one of my all time favorite Texans moments.
I really cant wait to play them again in Tennessee...guarantee AJ is gonna have a monster game next time and Pollard is gonna get torched!
But that is due to our kicker missing 3 field goals. 3 touchdowns and 3 field goals is ~30 points. That is not by any measure 'kicking the piss out' of someone. I would also point out we won the game by doing an 80 yard drive.
Yep. There coverage was really, really good. I was there, and at least it seemed like there were tons of plays where virtually nobody was open, they even covered the underneath routes Schaub loves to throw to OD really well. And to Pete, he's getting evaluated, it appears to be a head injury. Hopefully nothing serious.
Doesn't discount them dominating our O-Line. Do you disagree? Or do you think the Texans O-Line looked good?
