UT Football Thread

This is shameful. The most lucrative sports program in the country is being embarrassed week-in and week-out. As an alumnus, I'm at a loss.

How will Old Man Mack justify this one? How will he explain the missed tackles and awful play calling? I guess Major will be fired as a scapegoat shortly.

Imagine how badly Oklahoma is going to roll over this team.

 

What excuses will Brown give at the presser Monday.

OT (maybe a good diversion): Several entire commercial breaks tonight on the LHN have had no paid advertising. It's commercials for other UT shows on the network. Is this because paid advertising is hard for them to get?

Even for UT alums that are sports fans, this channel seems like overkill in the extreme. It's no wonder most cable companies aren't willing to pay much. The demand has to be close to nothing.

My god were 1 and 2 in non conference play. This going to be an ugly season.

UT Alums-

When will Mack be fired? Serious question.. If they lose a few more games, I think they need to make a statement and fire him before the season. Any team that can run will run all over UT.

They can't fire Mack because of that stupid Longhorn Network where Mack has a contract with them to keep doing his tv show, or something.

 

I think the concensus is that Deloss Dodds steps down in December, and the new AD will bring in new coaches in football, basketball, and baseball, barring miracle seasons in any of those sports.

 

I didn't watch cz I don't have LHN but as a texas fan in happy they lost so it puts more pressure on mack to be fired or leave.
