Well, after much "depression" time yesterday, I worked myself out of my funk for right now. Went out with friends which really helped. Thanks for the support guys, I don't think squeezing into a convertible sports car would have been the best idea anyways! :)

Damn bruh. I am disappoint. I'm sure getting a Chevy Camaro would have solved all your life problems.

Don't listen to the naysayers. After I got chrome wheels on my ride, my life suddenly became more fulfilled.

You were trying to compensate for not being happy with yourself. F the car and work on yourself. Get the car, once you're happy with yourself, if you even want it all anymore.

If you're not super motivated to work out, then hire a trainer for 6 weeks. Best 1k investment I ever made.

The price is steep, but ask yourself how much you'd pay to be in the best shape of your life? How much would you commit for long term health?

The stuff about moving outside of your comfort zone is true too. It sucks initially, but it beats staying with the familiar. Pick up a hobby that actively engages you, then join meetup groups to sustain that commitment.

The time you have now is comfort time. It's not as valueable if you waste it.

I'm in my early 30's, and I regret spending my money during my 20's on a new car, girls, expensive vacations .... and friends that were always down for dining out or going to a concert, but were never around when you need them.

If I had saved my money, and invested it into stocks or real estate, I would be a rich man. I shouldn't have spent it all on feeling good at the moment.

I say do all the shallow superficial pretentious stuff that you might feel has been out of your reach. If you define yourself by automobile type, do that.
But then give it A FINITE HARD TIME LIMIT. Keep it SHORT term. like 12-18 months and NO MORE. (You're gonna want to trade in the sports car later for something else anyway)

I've known people who kept themselves involved in school full time and went into the career world well prepare making nice money from it, but felt they'd shoulda "wilded out" more.

And of course there's many people who hung out too much, that wish they'da stayed focused on their career or education more and put that money toward stocks, house down-payment and retirement funds.

But because men can be admittedly simple..... a bad thing to happen is - Going into mid life, looking back at all the fresh young "WOULD-HIT" females that you think you COULDA had if you had more "game". But then in middle age now you're too noticeably wrinkly, balding, grey to be considered in their range. (And they only look BETTER each year you get older. If you're ALREADY looking back with regrets about missed "Hittable" chances, its worse doing it at 38 than 28. So gotta do it NOW if you're gonna do that)

And then after getting all the superficial stuff OUT THE WAY, THEN you start focusing on the QUALITY things. Focus on being a leader, helping others, meeting a GOOD woman not an arm-piece. So its 1 part YOUTHFUL USEFULNESS, other more important part LIVE QUALITY.

    Yeah some varying tones there.

Give me guidance on what a life worth living is about. Or maybe, let me know what multi-player games to get for XBoxOne later.

    -

I think its about personality really. And all about relations you form with people. And bottom line knowing how to project that with women to win their favor.

Crisis can happen when its wondering WHAT MORE could you have done, or WHO MORE could you have been around.

Having bling and being in shape is good, but it can be overcome if you're willing to concede that you gotta apply yourself more than the next person. But lots of people still need the material backing as a charm. (I'm not gonna say I'm different).

    *No car advise, sorry*

Sorry to hear bro, screw the car and work on yourself. Get them abz and watch dem girls start mirin. Of course you still gotta have the face but if ya don't, work really really hard on your physique. You'd be alot happier than some car. If you can get both at 24, that's gold right there.

The avg life expectancy is less than 80 for American men.

That would make 20 the age for 1/4 life crisis.

I guess with no other responses to my post; I'm curious what you're getting at.

I went through a rut right after I finished college. My life got really boring once I found a "real job" and some of my friends started getting married, having kids etc.

Buying a new car may feel cool for a few weeks, but after a while you'll be back to where you were. Find new stuff that you can do, places to go etc. that you can enjoy solo and it can help.
