Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless share their thoughts on the Heat signing Michael Beasley and how the veteran leadership in Miami's locker room will help Beasley. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/noIgNkRZ3jE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I almost want the Heat to win another championship just to see Oden and Beasley getting a ring before Durant. In other news, Beasley's signing should give Miami the much-needed weed source they are looking for.
I agree and disagree. He WILL be just fine on the Heat, but he would have been a disaster for the Rockets. I'm super glad we didn't take a risk on him. Saw what happened when we took a chance with Royce? He ultimately gave us the No Royce-No Choice program with hindered him to ever play for us which forced us to fly him as far away as we could from our organization. I hope he finds success, tho. But he was harming us. So, I'm glad we didn't take a chance on Beasley.
Terrible idea. The only hope for Beasley is that a veteran team like the Heat can whip him into shape. He would be a disaster in Houston.
Not that anyone cares but... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>For inquiring minds: Michael Beasley will wear No. 8 for Heat (his Timberwolves number), Greg Oden will wear No. 20 (his college number).</p>— Ira Winderman (@IraHeatBeat) <a href="https://twitter.com/IraHeatBeat/statuses/380819983703351296">September 19, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
