Chief's Cajun Snack Shack off Southmore in the Third Ward. Best burgers in Houston (top 3 at least). http://www.yelp.com/biz/chiefs-cajun-snack-shack-houston
Not bad...a little too salty. K dug her turkey burger a ton though. Thought of you when we walked by your second home.
Smoked BBQ Bacon Burger at the House of Blues restaurant is simply divine. Also Burger Guys off Westheimer is a small place but really good. Also the obvious Christian's Tailgate, Lankford's, etc.
I think I mentioned before that the best burgers ever are at a place called Father's Office in LA. Anyway the chef from that place is on Top Chef Masters this season.
They are opening a Filipino burger place called Jollibees by Meyerland. I might be open already. Anybody know anything about it?
They are pretty close, but there's a specialty burger at Stomp's that puts them over the top: The Stomper. Pound of beef, refried beans, guacamole, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream on a Mexican bun roll. Sweet Jesus man. That with the onion rings? You'll be fat and happy for the rest of the week.
in the Helms bakery area, yeah? I will check it out. you probably already know about the fancy gourmet Umami burger, but also Juicy Burger on Hollywood Blvd is an excellent made to order option as well.
I asked my wife about it, she lived in the Philippines in high school. She said Jollibees is gross, that you have to be raised on it to like it. I asked her where she'd rather eat, Taco Bell or Jollibees, and she said that unless Jollibees drastically improved their menu for the US, she'd run for the border every time.
A couple of my co-workers and I went to Tookies in Seabrook for lunch a few weeks back. That's ALWAYS a damn good burger.
Just went to the refinery the other day. Pretty good burger. Still, Christians first and then followed very closely by Lankford.
