1/2 point per reception league. I have talented receivers and need to deploy one for my flex spot. I am starting Brandon Marshall as WR1 and Jordy Nelson as WR2. What to do about Flex Spot? Dwayne Bowe vs. Dallas (I live in DFW and would love some extra motivation to root against the Cowboys) Cecil Shorts @ Oakland (having Henne starting should do wonders) I am a big Bowe fan long term but a little worried about the Chiefs not looking deep in Week 1. They didn't need to and will probably need to air it out a little against the Cowboys. Shorts is reunited with Mr. Chad Henne and should have a solid week this week now that Gaebert is on the shelf.
Should I trade James Jones for Eric Decker? It's a win-win situation for both of us. I think I win this trade though.
Nevermind, I decided I should wait to see how many snaps Decker takes this weekend, before I trade for him. edit: ^^maybe this is a bad idea. Should I get Decker now while his stock is low?
12 team league. Should I trade Steven Jackson for Jimmy Graham. I have ray rice and marshawn lynch with gates at te. I could keep jackson at the flex but with leveon bell coming back from injury I figured Id upgrade at tight end
I would buy Decker for James Jones. Both of their stock is irrationally low. I think Decker's talent wins out and he has Peyton spreading the ball around for the rest of the season. I think Decker will step up his game big time after his week 1 failures. James Jones is a marked man this year. He will still have his multi-TD games but I would be worried the consistency won't be there all year.
I agree. Would you pull the trade now, or would you wait for Jones stock to rise after this weekend's matchup against the Redskins? Finley might be out, and Rodgers/McCarthy said they needed to target Jones more.
I like Shaub cause you'll be cheering for him anyway, not much difference. Also like Lacy/Sproles for RB/FLEX.
Tough call but Decker's stock could rise as well if he has a good game. Not sure if the other guy will want Jones now though since I don't think he even had a catch in Game 1.
Well we just started discussing the trade today, so he's definitely interested. He has DEN demaryius thomas as well, and I have GB Finley, so we figure this trade makes both our teams more balanced.
Edelman against a decent Jets defense. Bellicheck and Brady will find ways to get him in decent matchups all over the field. Could even play a little of the Vereen/Woodhead role at times IMO. The Jets have some young secondary players that will get beat a couple of times by Brady & Co. Torrey Smith going against CLE seems like a good move but their shutdown corner Haden will be all over him since there are no more proven receivers for the Ravens. Smith could still produce since he is Flacco's most trusted option but Edelman will get plenty of looks tonight.
I have no faith in Bell when he gets back. That terrible line just lost its only decent piece for the rest of the season. I like the idea, but you need to get another piece back with Graham for Jackson.
