It cracks me up that the national media is up in arms over A&M's defensive performance (without 4 or 5 starters) against Rice and Sam Houston State, while simultaneously ignoring that Alabama had only 206 total yards of offense against a mediocre Virginia Tech team.
Tim Brando this morning said that not having a game last week will hurt Alabama and they will leave College Station with a loss.
keep hearing the rumor that Drake is gonna come out with the team and/or new unis for the game...could care less but be awesome for recruiting
God, Drake is such a front-running douche.......but I have to admit that would get people hyped like CRAZY if it's true. Still though, just seems like a lot of BS that's too distracting. Just go out, BTHO them, and go about our business. I think it would speak a lot louder if we just treated it like it was just another game, and that we EXPECT to win. Still though....I'll be watching intently.
We can't just treat it like another game. We are going to pull out all the stops. The recruiting visitor list is insane.
FYI, They are going to broadcast the midnight yell practice live on ESPN3 (online) starting 11:55 local time. With all the hype surrounding the game, this should be pretty awesome
I'm no aggie, but this is pretty cool http://www.aggienetwork.com/theassociation/ticketsforshannon.aspx
Even though I'm not really an Aggie fan, I was hired to do piano bar at one of the tailgate parties tomorrow. I expect that it will be pretty crazy down there. It also means that I have to leave Austin at 8:00 in the morning which is hard for a musician. Should be fun though.
CBS Sports is supposed to be streaming it online. Probably post that or one of these streaming sites closer to game time.
Hate both teams, but I'm sick of Johnny Manziel, so I guess I'm pulling for Alabama. Hopefully it's close.
