    I believe in what they're doing but I paid $5.80 2 weeks ago and sold for $8.33 yesterday I literally was like wtf just happened I made a ton in 2 weeks haha. I'll buy back in I just think this Syria crisis might be bad for the markets in general

    Im always down for a new stock....whats the thesis on VUZI?

    FWIW I got into china mobile once i sold my himx, CHL, it looks like Apple is closing a big deal with them this week, I read in the paper the 5C looks like it is going to china so I bought it friday in anticipation of a big announcement this week.

    its a really good hunch tbh..

    wearable computing is the biggest thing since the smartphone, IMO.

    it remains to be seen if it will really catch on in society (and generate the huge revenues we are thinking about)

    we are talking PPS of $50+ if GGlass and its competitors really help productivity, safety, and overall better flow of information in an additive-to-smartphones way, and is massively adopted. Whatever the final release product is, it has to be in synergy with peoples' phone use patterns, and make those actions seem completely natural after some use. As in, an individual wouldn't want to go back to "glass-less". The way smartphone-less life is increasingly difficult now, life with wearable computing should be so nice that you would never go back.

    this could take yrs of improving and refining, and who knows.. maybe human kind finds it to be too much information being streamed constantly at its eyes and cortexes.

    so until an actual product comes out and it at least "sounds and looks cool in concept/theory", HIMX is a pretty good stock pick. Its capitalizing on this intrigue, of being the first crazy consumer tech since the smartphone that has the ability to change our lives in a big way.

    When the first product reviews come out, and it is being used in everyday situations by everyday people, then the stock will pick a direction- either way up, or it is a dud (flatline or tank)

    issues i foresee are going to do with security/privacy
    -will we be forced to remove wearable computers in high-security places?
    - how is this going to be enforced?

    fashion
    - will some people ever want to be seen wearing these?

    information overload
    - will people want information being streamed to their face every waking second they are wearing the device? at least on a phone you can choose to not look at it for a while. google glass leaves us no choice really

    Ganja have u seen any potential release dates for google glass? I can't find anything online? Himx is still holding strong over $9 that's awesome

    Because its not strapped to your body and or face

    No eddie I havent seen any dates but I can imagine it will be around this time next year
