I think that's what his agent doesn't want to grasp.

Deng's body is already breaking down.. He has played a massive amount of minutes and games in his NBA career... It won't be long until he really slows down. Further he cannot create his own shot and cannot run the floor well.

They have made some poor decisions as a front office. Signing Boozer, Deng and Korver really limited their payroll flexibility. There is a power struggle going on and it is quite possible their coach will not be there for long. Other than lucking into Rose they have done very little consistently right. Even when they do something right (Asik), they don't resign him.

Deng is a possible secondary trade target for us on or around Dec 15, using Lin's contract and one minimum salary deal in excess of $1,075,354. That's how much salary we would have to send out for him. Lin to a 3rd team for a decent wing player that could be shuffled to Chicago for Deng's contract. One possibility...Lin to Orlando...Afflalo to Chicago, Ron Brewer to Chicago, Deng to Houston.

    1. He plays great D.

    2. He's a decent shooter in the corner.

    3. He could easily play the 3/4 on our team as we spread the floor.

    4. If we acquire him on or before Dec. 15, he can be aggregated and re-traded before the trade deadline.

    4. He's an expiring contract with Birds rights that can be sign-and-traded after the season or re-signed and kept after the season or renounced in favor of cap space to sign a big name free agent.

Deng is a logical secondary trade target for us. Because his contract gives us a lot of flexibility.

Pretty obvious that the Bulls have been actively trying to kill Deng for some time.

Disagree a bit re. the minutes and games. You should change that to "He has played a massive amount of minutes and games in his NBA career UNDER TOM THIBADEAU".

Thibs is running him to the ground imo and I think if he gets to another team with a semblance of an offense and a coach (w/all due respect to the defensive greatness of Thibs) that doesn't decide to play him every minute of every game, he will be fresher.

Agree. Whether you were being serious or not.
Luol has let a lot of slights go and some BS by the Bulls organization go(but his agent, family and friends have not).

Interesting tidbit. Deng runs about 2.68-2.72 miles per game. Which is either the most or second most in the league (Depending on where you look, Joakim Noah is first).

Where do you get this data?
Some article about that camera tracking project? Or is this publicly available for all players?

It's mentioned on a SB Nation Bulls blog. The data itself is from the SportsVU camera system. I don't think the raw data is publicly available, but I haven't really looked into it.
