I'm looking at this USA qualifying celebration and Johansson looks like a giant! He looks like he is 6'2".

Does that mean the USA will tank their last game against Panama and let them in over Mexico for the 4th place playoff spot?

Yes, if we get to the final game, and Panama gets the 4th spot with a win, I think the USA should roll out the young C or D players and see what happens.

Congratulations, USA and Costa Rica!

History repeated itself and destiny even stopped Demosey from changing a fourth 2-0.

We will have to play our asses off. :(

Classy Swoly - you guys should still get through at least to the playoff against New Zealand.

First, congrats to the US, they played much better.

Im so mad at the Mexico's team, they played really bad.

Where is El Salvador, when they have won something?

They are worried, because they are going to be fired too, Tena was an interim coach for this match, he is not going to stay.

well, all people here in Mexico are dissapointed and disgusted with the team so they probably agree that the team sucks now, I will still and I will always root for my country, but lets face it, they are playing garbage now.

I hear you, DD, we "should" have at least won one at home. Or even "should" not have lost at all at home, either. It might be too little too late. Will be tough at CRC but now I don't even know if it will be better at home vs. PAN.

USA was the better team after the first 80 minutes. Mexico lacked any creativity and had no drive. What's more, this team can only get better once Michael Bradley returns to health and we have on-form Altidore and Cameron. I'm hoping that Klinsmann gives some playing time to Johannsson and other young guys in the remaining matches so they get a taste of international play before Brazil.

Mexico is in disarray and I don't know if they will qualify. More than likely, they will. But this is not good form and some of their key players are not seeing positive club action (Chicharito).

Ask 2009 Costa Rica if that's what we'd do. It won't be the A team by any stretch but we'll play to win. It will be the players, likely from the Gold Cup, that are fighting to get in the 23 for the Cup.
