I need 16 points from Ryan Mathews and Fred Davis. Who thinks I will make it?

I have cook, thomas, and vernon davis... LOL..

Here is my squad after all the waivers..

    Andrew Luck (qb)
Lesean McCoy, CJ Spiller, Chris Johnson (RB)
Demaryius Thomas, Andre Brown, Joique Bell, Jacoby Jones, Marlon Brown (WR)
Vernon Davis, Cook, and Julius Thomas (TE)
    Justin Tucker (K)
    Bills and Cowboys (DEF)

Before this... my squad was horrible because I did auto draft... I had players like TY Hilton, Chris Ivory, Josh Freeman, Big Ben, Isaac Redman, Colts, and Bengals.

The TE's are a win/win. I lean towards Cook, due to the fact that Denver has so many options. Cook led all Rams players in targets with 10. While Thomas's 7 targets isn't far behind, Cook will average about 8-10. Both players are equally capable, but you have to lean towards the one that will get more opportunities.

WRs - It's between Edelman & Hartline. Hartline is the safer pick, and should give more immediate return. However, the caveat here is Amendola. He's perhaps the most injury prone player in the league, and if he gets hurt, Edelman becomes a high-end WR3 with high end WR2 potential as New Englands primary slot receiver.

    Quick questions:

    1. Which defense should I start?
    2. Should I start Chris Johnson or Jacoby jones/bell/marlon brown?

I managed to score 100 points with these 4 players (luck, Vernon Davis, Thomas(wr), Lesean McCoy) and the rest of my team got me 40 points. (The before all the waivers team)

Bros.. flex position advice for week 2:
I currently have Marques Colston, NO (@TB) as my flex.. should I stick with Colston or go with one of my reserves?

    My reserves are:
    Antonio Brown, Pit (@Cin)
    Rashard Mendenhall, Ari (Det)
    Mike Williams, TB (NO)
    Vick Ballard, IND (MIA)

    Thanks dudes!!

Forget about Brown, and Ballard. Mendenhall is probably your best bet in a standard scoring league. STL defense is stout, and Det is a better matchup for him

If you league is PPR, this one comes down to Colston v Revis, or Mike Willimas v NO secondary.

This is tough, because we don't have too much history on Colston against the Jets. I believe 09 was the only example, and Revis got the better of that one by limiting Colston to 2 receptions.

Williams hasn't exactly been prolific against New Orleans, but he's been good for at least 4-6 receptions. I don't often sit a guy like Colston, and I'd still start him here, but there's an arguements to be made for Williams.

Also, I just want to point out a couple buy low candidates for this week.

Josh Gordon will be serving his second week suspension, and return week 3. If available after waivers I'd pick him up and stash him for the 1 week. The Browns are anxis awaiting his return, and the new coaching staff loves to pass the ball.

Cecil Shorts is a great buy low guy. Gabbert is out, and while Henne is no stud, he's at least capable of getting Shorts the ball. The games that Henne started were Cecil's best.

Definitely the Cowboys (at KC) over the Bills (vs. CAR). No question!

Yea but KC now has a legit QB... who doesn't throw around a lot of INT.. but then again they only played Jacksonville the first week.

The Bills have a bottom-5 ranked defense. Alex Smith had a decent game (21/34, 173 yards, 2 TDs) against a horrible defense. Although Cam Newton's debut was not fantastic either, I wouldn't want to start my defense against him. I don't think there will be many weeks you will want to start the Bills.

I'd agree with him. Buffalo has a decent pass protection, but Carolina's strength is running the ball and the Bills are a sieve in that regard.

The Cowboys were given a lot of gifts last week, but they're the more talented squad for sure. An indoor team playing on the road outdoors can disappoint, but they are still a "safer" pick.

Got you. The bills did have a lot of fantasy points and they played pats.

    Alright. Cowboys it is.

    Thanks.

Should I start Kenbrell Thompkins (14 targets, 4 catches) now that Amendola is out week 2?

Or play it safe and start Deangelo Williams vs the Bills who got gouged last week vs the Pats?

Well, from the advice these guys gave me about the bills, id go with Williams.

Plus he had a decent game against Seattle. 70-80 yds.

Extremely thin at RB (only have Foster, Gio Bernard, Tate). Could use a backup D (only have Seattle). Also, only have Jimmy Graham at TE.

Need a little help on waiver wire pickups, please (standard league).

    Bench players (I'm considering dropping):

Bernard Pierce (Bal), Brandon Pettigrew (Det), Roy Helu (Was)

Available on waivers (as of this morning):

RB: V. Ballard (Ind), R. Hillman (Den), M. Reece (Oak), Redman (Pitt)
WR: J. Gordon (Cle), K. Britt (Ten), M. Floyd (Ari), S. Rice (Sea), Heyward-Bey (Ind), R. Randle (NYG), E. Royal (SD), J. Kearse (Sea)
    DEF: Carolina, Tampa, Washington, Pittsburgh,
TE: Brent Celek (Phi), Dallas Clark (Bal), Zach Sudfeld (NE)

    Thanks, fellas.
