So, who else is going to the airport to welcome them home?

This is your main beat-writer for the only paper in town, folks. What an absolute joke. Go write a schlub piece on Jake Locker for the Daily Possum, Pancakes. You're the writer the Titans deserve.

UTKevinAcee ‏@UTKevinAcee 3m Philip Rivers' passer rating when Chargers were up 28-7 with 10:46 left in 3rd quarter was 134.8 ... Thereafter, it was 0. Zero.

What a great win! I could care less about about shutting up Schaub or Kubiak naysayers. That is part of the game and even winners need the heat (to a reasonable extent, some of you A-holes). That was a gutsy win that AJ, and the D dialed up!

    Go Texans!

Matt schuab is easily a top 10 qb. The interception was a fluke play happens to every qb in the league. I really liked that they let Matt pass the ball in the red zone and also more plays in shotgun. It's a passing league and you have to be able to put up points in the air. Schuab is more than good enough to make all the throws this team needs 345 with 75% completion percentage with 3 tds and a 110 qbr. That's elite as they come and IMO outplayed every qb this week minus manning and kap.

Also they keep doubting Andre Johnson saying he's old and is due to slow down. Well all he does is put up 146 on 12 catches and ill tell you what he looked better than ever making big play after big play and even looked good after the catch. I'm expecting another 100 catch 1500 yard season from the beast.

Hopkins is the real deal and is gonna have 6+ tds this yr I can tell he's gonna play a big part in our passing offense. Our tightends are special and should be a top 5 tandem,in the league. Their both gonna get a lot of tds.

The defense still scares me but with smith back next week I know will get better pressure and Ed reed should make qbs at least think before they throw deep. Watt is very special does things that matter even when he's having a off game to his standard. Cushing is just a really good football player and is deserving of his contract on this team at least. He's like Brian urlacher clone just really good at all levels which is what u want from a middle linebacker. He's clearly the leader of the defense and brings a new swag. We saw what the defense can look like when we get pressure with the front 7 it just makes the secondary's job so much easier and were gonna need that all yr if the defense is gonna be as good as advertised. With that said I do think we have the personnel to make it happen.

Well that's my take from the game it was a classic and a great way to start the season.

The difference with Schaub this year?

There is a legit 2nd receiver and Ben Tate.

Maybe. He looked a little more poised when scrambling. Still flopped a few plays, but noticeable improvement.

Crazy win. I'll take it. 1st win ever for the franchise against the Chargers which is nice too. It's nice to have a punter like Lechler and a legit kicker like Bullock. Special teams is definitely improved from last season. Foster was rusty, but I think he'll be alright. Tate was solid.

schaub made majority of the throws he needed to make, especially on that final drive. he extended some plays with his feet and was great from goalline. the run game was great on our scoring drives.. cush had the play of the game, if you get a chance to rewatch, look how the defense came out after cush pick6.. they were fired up and gave the ball right back to the O..
