I think you're deluding yourself. Texans (rightfully) b**** about Kubiak/Schaub all the time and how we're probably pretenders until proven otherwise.

My point exactly. Throw it deep, Go for it or if you're not, don't pad stats by running a useless play, where if a fumble happens Chargers could score again.

I hope the second half we find our stride & win this!!!

 

Well, the bright side is that it can't get worse than that. I think.

 

I didn't realize that there were this many people that don't like Houston sports teams on here.

 

I think you meant to say Wade Philips and this defense.

 

I'm not a fan of Kubiak, but if you weren't done with them before this game, it's really stupid to be done with them after one half of football.

 

That is what I was going to say. If the defense plays like that all year, the Texans will be lucky to win four or five games. That was some absolutely horrible defense at all levels. No pass rush, no run defense, no secondary, no tackling, no nothing. Besides the first play, Schaub looked pretty good.

 

Oh well, let's see if Kubiak has the balls to come out passing.

without pressure up front, Rivers having fun picking apart the defense...JJ and company needs to step up...the front 7 losing the battle;
but expect a strong showing by our team in the 2nd half...dont know if it will be enough

 

The only way it could get worse is if AJ dies on the field.

 

He's too busy spending our paychecks to hold people accountable.

 

Schaub's not the problem. We're losing the battle in the trenches on both sides. Duane Brown is getting his ass kicked by Dwight Freeney. Schaub's been pressured all night. We couldn't get 2 freakin' inches on 4th down. On defense, Chargers have had no problem running in short yardage situations.

This team needs to man up because they're kind of playing like a bunch of p*****s.

After Schaub, my main concern about the Texans was the secondary. Keo and Swearinger don't belong on the field. For the Texans to be successful, the pass rush will have to compensate for that.

I'll cut him slack because of rust, but Arian needs raise his effort level or sit in the 2nd half for Tate. I'm sick and tired of watching him fall down without contact while Tate runs like a wild bull.

I didn't sense a lack of intensity in the 1st half from the Texans (except maybe from Arian), but the INT, failure on 4th down and missed FG (thanks Lestar) killed them.

 

This possiblity of us coming back isn't worth losing valuable sleep over. I have a feeling this is only going to get uglier.

 

Since when is Phillip Rivers a big time quarterback? This is 2013
