So now we know that Brown Pride is the problem. Hopefully they have HPD's full attention now. The problem needs to be snuffed out immediately. Especially when children are afraid to go to school and memorial services. Prison gangs belong in prison.
could be the start of some northside turf wars could it also be the beginning of an inter-houston flight of people from northside to southside? the ppl that can afford it.. but not necessarily all the way out to the suburbs. maybe the areas around almeda and 288 near the beltway.. some new developments going up out there but are too "scary" for the "wealthy" folks. sounds perfect for ppl from a "scarier" place who want more safety but a still affordable area
This Brown Pride garbage is going to make it hard for innocent people who go to work and school everyday. They will bring the wrong kind of attention to the honest, hard working latino americans. All of this has nothing to do with Black against hispanics and everything to do with piece of garbage criminals. That is really all they are. Criminals bringing prison life home with them. People come here everyday to work and provide for their families here and abroad. They don't deserve this kind of attention.
SMH at the last three posts. Ya'll can't be serious. "Brown Pride" "Northside Turf War... Migration from North Houston to South Houston" WTF are you talking about?
I don't think there will be any kind of migration issue. I'm just talking about the growing threat of gang violence amongst our children in schools. I bet a lot of people didn't go to Spring high school today because of what happened last week and yesterday. Shameful.
Brown Pride is a gang. It's not crazy to think that a turf war between North Houston gangs could happen, but I'd say it's unlikely. Most of these kids are just high school thugs that would s*** their pants if things really blew up. 5th quote
The northside unincorporated areas like Spring is just a lawless wasteland. Only relying on the county sheriff and constable to patrol. They are stretched way too thin because the Houston area has so many unincorporated areas. It's too bad areas like Spring,Klein, the woodlands, and other parts of the unincorporated N/NW sides aren't their own city. Crime up there is really becoming a problem.
the woodlands had delayed a vote on incorporation a yr ago.. i wonder how they feel about it now and into the future.
Somebody got killed or seriously hurt, a couple houses down my street. They pulled the yellow tape out. The gunshots happen right after high school bus dropped them. Fallbrook subdivision. That hood is thug nasty. Every time I would go to work there were cops blocking streets. That became so normal for me to see.
