There is a yt video but it's very short. It was shot from someone in the crowd. Just wondering if it's the same speech he gave to the Taiwan crowd. Maybe a better quality video will come out later.

It's the same testimony as the one given in Taiwan but with a Bay Area twist. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Jeremy Lin at Identity Unleashed 2013 video: <a href="http://t.co/bpA1oUihke">http://t.co/bpA1oUihke</a> via <a href="https://twitter.com/YouTube">@youtube</a></p>— Grace (@graceo99) <a href="https://twitter.com/graceo99/statuses/376616094573662209">September 8, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
It's mostly the same speech as in Taiwan. He changed it a little. His delivery was also much better and more engaging probably because he's speaking to an audience that understands English. Watching this, I can definitely see how he can become a good pastor in the future.

Does that mean he has injury in his leg? After all, acupuncture is not massage; it is not something you do when you are completely healthy.
DH is still recovering last I heard. But acupuncture has the following uses: (a) as a form of analgesic method - by short-circuiting nerve signals it can block pain (b) as a method to control the flow of stuff inside our bodies - the ancient chinese call this Qi (there isn't an exact equivalent term in English) but we may want to view that within our bodies various substances need to flow properly throughout our bodies e.g. blood, nutrients, nerve signals, hormones, oxygen, antibodies, junk etc. The circulation of these substances if impaired or improper can cause problems to our health. Acupuncture is thought to be able to help in the regulation of the flow - so I presume, DH is undergoing some acupuncture to help speed-up his recovery process. (and yes, before someone else asks - acupuncture can be used to screw up our bodies as well, so it's important to find someone properly trained to do it before you start experimenting with it). (c) as a diagnostic method (rarely done and difficult to do requiring a really experienced practitioner) - yes, it's like the western medicinal equivalent of probes - the seasoned acupuncturist can at times determine some hidden issues with the patient's internal organs by checking the body's responses to the placement of needles on various parts of the body. So maybe DH might be asking someone to double-check that there isn't any ther "hidden" ailment within his body......
I hope he is just trying acupuncture for fun rather than because of one of those reasons you stated because none of them looks good to me. (a) Block pain...not good. (b) Something is not flowing properly and he is recovering slowly...not good. (c) Hidden issues...not good.
