I'm out. Second year in a row I got knocked out in week 1. Thanks for running the game, Lil Pun. See you next year!
Monday morning question: Are the Raiders turning things around (especially on D) or did Indy just have an off day at home? Running game looking pretty weak again (except for Luck). Just glad they pulled it out... damn.
No early film on Pryor or that offense will help the Raiders for a few more weeks. But I think it's more telling of Indy. They didn't make any exciting splashes in the offseason, they made a lot of Carrol Dawson-esque typed splashes and statistically they're pegged as a team to regress according to historical data. I don't think they're all that great.
Yeah, I was thinking the same and couldn't understand why most 'pundits' kept saying the division was theirs to win. Didn't wanna come off as a Texans homer (especially here in SF) so I just left it alone. But it's kinda ironic that most were saying this exact same thing about the Texans' offseason (adding old man Reed, Greg Jones -- losing Barwin, GQ, Casey, etc.), which is why some believe Indy's needle is trending up in comparison. Whatever. Games are won on the field, and I'll be wearing my Texans jersey tonight. Love pissing off these 9er fans. Can't wait til Oct 6th.
