He's a former league rules official, hired by Fox to explain and clarify rule violations. Still doesnt mean 49ers would have settled for a fg.
Funny because Kap wasn't even a rookie last year. This is his third year in the league. The fourth rookie last year was Tannehill.
it wasnt a fox analyst... it was an NFL official stating that the ruling shouldve been 4th and 2 with offsetting penalties and not 3rd and 6. That could ve changed some things...but seriously this niners team is scary...Bouldin is their Xfactor
Actually, Flacco and Boldin had really good chemistry last year and was having success as his safety blanket...How the Ravens only asked for a 6th rounder is beyond me...wow...Trade steal will pay huge dividends throughout the season. Really the only chance teams now have is if Kap gets hurt, bc this team will score at will; you just have to play a game like the Packers did today, and try making a few more plays... The Niners are the best team on paper, and they showed how Boldin is going to carry them over the top... Im really concerned about the Texans matchup against them this year...
That's part of it. 49ers aren't paying anything for elite QB production... part of the reason why they can afford all the players they do.
