Once again Honduras beats/ties the game with 2 goals in a span of about 3 minutes. Well time to hope for good things to happen on Tuesday

WTF? how could Mexico lose at home, I dont get it, something has to change and quick, and now Mexico wont win in US, thats a fact, I dont get it, one of the more easy zones to qualify to the world cup, and mexico cant win at home smh.

I already said long time ago Chepo is like Kubiak, only have one gameplan, and if it doesnt work, then they dont know how to change.

Holy cow did the USA play like Hot garbage, and Dempsey is just not the same, he looks slow and flops a ton.....that PK was horrible.

WTF is wrong with our back line, pathetic.

well, I dont see how this team can win, but I will still root for mexico on tuesday, and hope for the best, but yeah its not a fact, im just so mad!

they scored a goal, and then playing not to lose, just passing the ball, they lost the good game they showed for 15-20 mins.

Should have played Beckerman with Bradley out. The backline and HM was horrible.

mexico relaxed after the goal and it cost them. also honduras subbed in bengston in the 2nd half and changed to 2 strikers. To start game they had only costly and he was isolated. chepo didn't adjust his game plan and it backfired. chepo has proven to be severely poor and in game adjustments and most coaches are getting the better of him during the game.

Why on Earth would they relax? They are in NO position to be letting the foot off the gas. They should be wanting to destroy teams 3-0, not coast to 1-0 victories.

Yup, wonder how this will impact El Tri for Tuesday? Luis Fernando Tena will be the interim coach.

Overconfidence after scoring at home for the first time in these qualifiers. :( Bad coaching influenced, too.
We could only HOPE... no, wait, I think the only way to be affected is UP, because we can't be any worse than losing at home that badly: outscored, outplayed, outganas'd, outcoached. We are used to losing at Columbus. The only way we can come out of this hole WINNING all three remaining games, which looks extremely difficult now.

:(I called this last night and even knew Tena would come in as interim/coach. He will more than likely remain coach as there are almost no other coaches that CAN save us now.

 you can still ask him. He has a mouth.

While watching the América vs. Monterrey game, the commentators mentioned that USSOCCER federationinvited the Sounders' supporters to Columbus for Tuesday's game (free?). Will be loud!

I absolutely agree. If Bradley is out and we're forced to continue to play Jones, you need someone that can, you know, actually complete a pass. Jones proved he wasn't capable of doing anything on Friday other than hit long balls that ended up as goal kick after goal kick. Torres at least provides some possession capabilities and can hit the passes.

I'd like to see Johannsson get the start up front with Dempsey behind him and Donovan outside. Landon needs space to run to be effective. He's not when he's forced to play with his back to the goal...as he was doing often on Friday. Same with Dempsey. They're both better facing the goal.

If it were me, I'd be starting...

Outside backs -Beasley and F. Johnson
Center backs - Goodson and Gonzalez
Outside mids - Donovan and Zusi
Center mids - Jones, Torres, and Dempsey as a more withdrawn forward
    Forward - Johannsson

Honduras could be called the "Mexico's coach killer" because four years ago in the qualifying for the 2010 World Cup Honduras won 3-1 against Mexico and Sven Goran Eriksson was fired the next day, now Mexico lost 2-1 and Chepo gets fired.

This is the foul that will keep Besler out.

The Costa Rican forwards were flopping terribly all game. The refs did a good job for most of it, even carding one of them for flopping, but wow that one was horrible against Besler.
