UT is ALWAYS ranked about 20 spots above where they should be. I have seen this for decades. They need a defensive coordinator in the worst way. Get the BYU guy, he knows what he is doing.
It's BYU's offensive coordinator who doesn't know what he's doing, generally. However when you can tell your team "I don't care, just run it!" and get 30 yards per carry, that's a recipe for coaching success.
UT continues to be one of the more overrated programs in the country. Consistently underperforming for the last half-decade.
Just saw the score. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Blow this program up and start over. Zero excuses for 4 years now of mediocre football.
Because Virginia looked TERRIBLE against Oregon today and the BYU QB's stats were so awful against UVA, I didn't give them a legit chance to beat UT. Looked like a typical creampuff, gimme game. Ole Miss is way better than BYU. UT better raise their game next week.
Isn't Mushchamp still Head Coach In Waiting? I mean, I know he's the big guy at Florida now, but surely he's just there to pass the time, right? We can recall him back to UT anytime, right? RIGHT??

He did connect on a few ugly passes once Texas discovered that opposing teams could also run the ball, and attempted to adjust.

Past bad, past sad, past embarrassing, past unacceptable, Texas was just laughable. Watching them play football was better than standup. Someone NEEDS to get fired; for the money, facilities, recruits, and talent this team supposedly has.. I don't know what can be said. Laughable, just laughable.

This is what happens when your defensive coordinator has literally the worst defense in the history of the school and you bring him back. I will never understand how and why Manny Diaz was able to keep his job. Mack Brown and the way he is running this program is a complete joke. He helped bring Texas back to prominence but he has also pissed away several championship caliber teams with his bad decisions.
