You can tell this mess was shot in Canada. It's got the cheap try hard look that all scifi films made in Canada have. Plus, Jay Baruchel, who's only employable in Canada.

LOL! Strike 2!! Don't **** with Paul Verhoeven sci-fi classic. I have watched Paul Verhoeven's Robocop, Total Recall and Starship Troopers so many time it's not even funny. That show you how well his movies are holding up. Hollywood doesn't have balls anymore.

What do ya know! Another reboot! Loving Hollywood's constant originality lately. I mean...you can never get enough reboots and comic book movie adaptations. You really just can't...

It looks borderline PG and without the acerbic humor. This trailer makes the original seem sophisticated. I think this will be a dog of a movie.

    I dunno.
I prefer the 'dead' look of the face of the original
I also like the set up of it not being a choice at all . . .
that OCP did it because they simply could and they 'owned' him

    Much deeper meaning there

I don't like the human hand because . .. . some of impact of the scientist's dispassion were in simple lines

"We can save the right arm."
    "No scrap it all!"

it will be a decent move but a lot of the soul being carved out of it in that trailer

I think the only problem with this is that it will be pg-13 instead of R, but that's the studio's doing. They got the director of those Elite Squad movies from Brazil. Instead of just remaking the exact same movie, the issue they are tackling is drones.

Looks like it'll be a nice action film. I'll watch it for what the movie is worth. Going in expecting to see some good action scenes. If the story is even a little interesting, that'll be a nice plus.
