How in the world with your intelligence do you read the ops post as denigrating Harden?????

    Lol

Exactly. Harden played at an elite level as a starter in the Western conference. The OP was again trying to say Harden was not one of the best players in the NBA and trying to get others to believe it. This thread was a bad attempt at trolling.

Please stop posting on my thread. The fact that you alone can't seem to understand what I actually wanted to have discuss while also insinuating that this thread is to somehow bash Harden is ridiculous. Yes, I'm secretly trolling the best player on this team while comparing his numbers to legends like Bird and Jordan. Clearly my purpose in creating this thread to fire subtle shots at Harden.

    OK

Wasn't aware this was a private thread. Please use the report button and have me banned.

You were denigrating Harden who is among the best players in the NBA. Then to start trying to say that he was unworthy by comparing him to a legend like MJ at that. Harden has one year as a starter when he has played many years then one can try to compare. I posted what I wanted before and you didn't ask me to leave.

I'm the GM Houston deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

Just admit you didnt' read OPs post. He stated that Harden's numbers last year were equalled only by Bird, Jordan, and Lebron. He made a point to even post a quote and table showing just how elite Harden was last year. Then, he specifically stated that Harden was elite. Then, he said that he could be even better!!
Just read it again before you continue to make yourself look foolish.

Guy was pretty strong in his opinion tho. He needed to get shot down like that.

These are the all time leaders for TS% among perimeter players.

1.Dave Twardzik .689 (talk about good shot selection, won a title with Walton)
    2.Tim Legler .688 (52% from 3)
    3.Steve Kerr .663 (52% from 3, won a title with Jordan)
4.Mario Elie .662 (mostly 3's, got to conf finals with big 3 rockets)
    5.Adrian Dantley .661
    6.James Harden .660
    7.John Stockton .656
    8.Brent Price .655 (46% from 3)
    9.Steve Nash .654

Only 2 players period, have maintained a career % over .618

His number in OKC was all time great, he can improve on last years TS% with D12, but there is zero chance he returns to that number. He is gonna have to force too many shots here. If he can score 25 on 64% shooting that would make him an all-time stud.

Those names being back some memories! Surprised Mark Price wasn't on their though. Adrian Dantley. Dang~ I miss those days. James Edwards, granmama, Mark Eaton, Terry Porter.. The not quite superstars but big names in 80s basketball.

He wasn't denigrating Harden at all. You're not the only one who misinterpreted the point of this thread, though.

He probably only read the thread title (which wasn't even insulting) and read OP's username (sleepyazn) and immediately thought.. " This guy must be a Lin fan bashing Harden! Now I have to complain and make this thread go completely off topic !"

I believe his stats will get very close to those in OKC. I also believe, he will get a lot better on the defensive end as well.

    .46%/.377%/.87%
