God he's such a sh-t actor. Anyone defending him deserves anal herpes. And don't get me started on Timberpussy.

I don't see affleck as a good or bad actor, he's just meh. If he's not in a role that that's too much of a reach, he's not gonna ruin a movie.

JT on the other hand, I think is actually a pretty decent actor, I've liked him in pretty much everything he has been in.

I agree with you about Affleck but I think Timerlake is just awful in everything he's been in as an actor....

The Affleck backlash is over the top. He'll probably do just fine in the end.

It isn't really a role that requires a great thespian, especially since half the time his face will be covered by a mask. Have the right look, deliver the lines competently, and be convincing in the action scenes. That's it.

I agree with you.... Aflac>TimmyLake, but really neither one is a must see actor, both are Redbox material in my opinion....

You can only WISH you have the life of Affleck and Timber"p***y". Their wives: Garner and Biel, Oscar winner and Grammy Winner. Both worth north of 100 million dollars. Yeah, they care what you think.

That has literally nothing to do with their talent or individual performances. In this day and age you'd be surprised how many people are worth over $100 million or date individual models or actress that you would never care about.

Said a guy on a NBA fan site. LOL.

DH12 does not care what you think, champ.

Criticizing movies is fun just like criticizing the NBA, and Pericles is totally right about AFLAC.

Affleck is what Keaton was, a familiar face with a specific personality. If the dialogue and characters fit; they'll hit their number.

I guess i have to cut Ben some slack...bc Daredevil wasnt written, produced and directed by him. He was just an actor to a crappy script...But that movie was God awful...

That being said, they really shouldve gone with an unknown. Lots of folks ripped on Daniel Craig as Bond, but he was darn good. And Henry Cavill was decent for his first attempt at Superman. When the late Heath Ledger was cast for the Joker, so many laughed at it; but that is the movie I have watched the most # of times, just to see his performance.

Lets give the script writer and producer a chance before we crucify Ben(Thought he was good in Argo).

Daniel Craig had Layer Cake + some noteworthy performances on the London Stage before 007. Heath had an Oscar nomination before TDKR. Keaton could do Drama (Clean and Sober) and manical comedy (Beetlejuice) so there was acting range.

    Bennifer has no such bonafides.

    The Town and Argo...

He definitely deserves a fair shot. He has some serious talent.

The Town is one of my favorite movies all time so Ben gets a pass from me for anything ****ty he's ever done or does in the future. Ps I've never seen Dare devil and don't ever plan to. That's "your bad" for watching it.

Well, yeah...Mr. Damon could be considered to be slightly biased, but his opinion should nonetheless carry some weight (considering his credentials):

"I think it will be great," he says of Affleck as the caped crusader. "It will be terrific. I know there are a lot of people grousing on the internet. I just think it's kind of funny. You know, he's not playing King Lear. It's Batman! Certainly within his skill set. If anybody saw 'Argo' or 'The Town,' and all the work he's been doing lately, it's way more nuanced and interesting and way more difficult than Batman! Batman just sits there with his cowl over his head and whispers in a kinda gruff voice at people. Bruce Wayne is the more challenging part of the role, and Ben will be great at that... But it's safe to say I won't be Robin."
