We can't just lay blanket statements out like "The hood is a bad place to raise a family" Because there are good families who try their best to teach their kids the opposite of the norms. Kids with good families in the hood would Prolly kick suburb kids added in real life
I think its a fair statement to make if you use the colloquial definition of "the hood". It may not be "all bad", or rotten to the core, but relative to places that aren't "the hood", then yeah, its a bad place to raise a family.
"Can you count, suckers? I say, the future is ours... if you can count"! That's the problem, half the students now can't even count... ....... ....... .......
Yea bc you're not human and impervious to the factors in the world that place people in such circumstances, right?
Why? If it was some lonesome dove-some Norman Bates kind of guy/ it probably would but since this is Gang Related, the problem has to be dealt within the community first.
I don't think you can compare random shootings to escalating gang/racial tensions. What people are upset about is that this has apparently been a problem for years and the district has done nothing about it. Telling parents that this is the first time anyone has actually been killed probably isn't going to pacify them.
