Did the Spring area take in a lot of people from Katrina? The parking lot they keep showing looks like the Superdome after Katrina
Yeah, it most definitely did. I'm saying that based off the fact that I was enrolled in a Spring I.S.D school during that time.
Yes. If I remember correctly, my graduating class went from 750-800 kids to over 1000 in 2006 because of Katrina. Many refugees never left, and unfortunately, some of the ones that stayed weren't exactly the most outstanding people.
There were 2 stabbings (or at least attacks involving knives) at Killough in my 8th grade year and they brought the metal detectors in. That's why I went to private school.
I dodged a bullet by not moving there. I hope the victim wasn't black cause its going to turn into a war that the Hispanics will lose. Reminiscing off my greenspoint days.
A good realtor from that area will tell you to live on the west side of I-45 North in Spring and be schooled at Klein school districts.
Wow. I graduated from there in 1991. It shouldn't surprise me to see this stuff at any school but this does shock me somewhat.
Wasn't there a big gang fight at Dekaney HS just last year? That's right down I-45 from Spring HS. And of course, the same district.... When I was in high school, I just remember Spring having a BAD ASS drumline. Westfield too. They always kicked our ass at contest.
So the acts of children will set off a war between hispanics and blacks??? Wrong, because just last week, all of the adults were marching for more pay.
