I am well aware of this. I think the context I was trying to communicate was that Jesse in his soul is not a killer. He was emotionally torn up about Gus' men killing the child and wanted justice. He had to get high to build up the courage to confront them before Walt ran them over. Then the whole Gale thing ruined him. Jesse's internal dilemmas and nightmares are a big part of the storyline. Walt, on the other hand, is very calculating and will do any evil means to get what he wants. He broke bad a long time ago, and essentially has no conscience. The only things he cares about are his ego and his family's perception of him.
Jessie is going to claim that he is Heisenberg- that is how Charlie Rose comes in- Jessie will go on Charlie Rose proclaiming how he masterminded a multimillion-dollar drug ring. Why else would they keep making a big deal of "Remember My Name"? With the way the writers constantly trick us, it wouldn't surprise me if the entire Remember My Name is ironic b/c no one remembers that Walt is Heisenberg. Maybe Jessie writes Heisenberg on Walt's wall as a "F**K You" to Walt. I don't know the specifics (like, would Jessie then admit to murder? I don't think he'd mind going to jail for drugs- although, would he even have to unless they found evidence?), but that's just a wild guess of mine. This would truly be getting Walt "where he lives."
This is a brilliant hypothesis. And he could prove it out if doubted, because he alone also has the skillset to make the blue meth. Walt would never be able to let that go, just like he couldn't let Gale be suspected as Heisenberg either. Pride has always been his fatal flaw, back to the Gray Matter days.
The thing is, I've been wrong on literally every guess I've made, so I seriously doubt this will happen. But if there was a way for the writers to create this scenario with the correct degree of plausibility, it would be surprising because they keep building up this Remember My Name- and then also remember, Ozymandias is the next episode (I should say 2 weeks from now- the next episode is To'hajillee, which is the name of the place where Walt and Jesse first started cooking)- that's a poem about a ruler who, basically, has been forgotten about over time. Whose great works are now nothing but sand. So, Walt's "Empire"- to have that taken away, to have Heisenberg taken away from him- that would be the worst (well, maybe his family dying- but you know what I mean). So, by the time Ozymandias airs, maybe he's the proverbial ruler who has nothing to show for his empire- not even his name Heisenberg.
You can buy castor bean seeds over the internet, it's actually a pretty common ornamental plant in some regions.
So lying to Jessie and actually hoping he dies is ok? Right. Because he was a junkie it is completely ok. Both are bad, but if you look at underlying motivations its harder to justify Hank's.
Hank's Motivation 1) To catch Walt admitting to his crimes 2) To catch Walt murdering his junkie colleague I don't love or hate Hank, but he's still doing police work. He's not a squeaky clean good guy, but my goodness, Walt has become the devil. The only pure soul in that show is Walter Jr.
Another thing that's strange and doesn't make sense. Someone writes Heisenberg on Walt's wall- that's in the flash-forward in the Blood Money episode, right? Well, that actually looks a lot like Walter White's own handwriting. There's an episode early on, I think Season 1, in which Jessie goes back to his house and goes through old items in a chest storage container. He pulls out this old paper and laughs b/c he drew a picture of White with an object up his you-know-what- it was on the back of a test paper. On the front, he sees that he got a bad grade on the test and Mr. White wrote "Ridiculous! Apply yourself!" or something like that. I remember thinking at the time that he had very neat handwriting for a guy, and when I looked back at it, it looks very similar to the Heisenberg on his wall. Now, why would he write that on his own wall?
This is why I never really like Jesse in the first place. Like a previous poster said, Jesse is always messing things up and Walt ALWAYS has to clean up his mess. Jesse needs to man up and stop being a little b**** and stop being a little snitch to the DEA. What the hell was he thinking trying to burn Walt's house down? What if Walt's family was there, his infant daughter? Isnt that what he's always stood for? Not killing kids? Smh.... I hope Jesse dies. I hope everyone dies to be honest, except for Walt and his daughter. Yes, I know Walt has done some truly awful things but it was all for the good of his family and friends (jesse). He never truly killed out of anger or hate, it was all for the greater good of his family and to survive. He was smart, calculating and rational in his actions that I think most people put in his position would want to do the same thing, and for that, you have to respect him. Jesse truly is a **** up and Walt has been nothing but patient with him, giving him chance after chance. Walt now realizes that Jesse is more trouble than hes worth and he will put him down.
Yeah. Making Jesse shoot Gale in the face. Totally altruistic on Walt's part. Having 10 guys brutally murdered in prison. Had to be done to protect his family. GTFO.
LOL, I respect the character that is Walt for his cunning, but he has been damn lucky throughout. I also respected Gus. All that said, Walt's ego has been a huge factor. His freakin former business partner offered to pay for all of Walt's cancer treatments. He didn't even quit until his wife begged him. He went from making money to "empire building"...his words. The original motivation for Walt to break bad changed along time ago. He is now Heisenberg full time and only pretends to be Walter White for his son.
Yeah, Walt's pride is the driving motivation behind everything he does. Why he doesn't become Heisenberg full-time is because he wants the Walt identity to make it in order to justify all those years before.
Jesse and Hank will go after Walter Jr. first, not to kill him but to forever ruin who his dad was to him. They are at Walt's house and Jr. is having a tough time hearing everything, it makes sense, but he is unwilling to accept the truth and starts flipping out at Hank and Jesse. A brawl breaks out. Turns out his canes were actually AK-47s. Blasts Hank and Jesse. Right then Walter and Skyler get home, but unfortunately are mowed down in Walt Jr. rain of bullets. The End
I love Jessie's character, but the other poster is right. Ultimately, Jesse is also a killer. Hank shouldn't have any qualms about Jesse being collateral damage
Marie will try to poison Walter but instead will kill her own sister Skylar. Hank will then need Walter to take out Gomie cause he knows too much hence the need for the Ricin. In the end Walter and Hank will work together to help Marie, but Jesse will off both of them. Todd will then take out Jesse, but will get caught by the DEA at the end, end of story.
Has no conscience? Not totally true, he did not want Hank nor Jesse killed. What if he is faking his death and try to pin Heinsenberg as the one who "killed" him? As for people who are ok with Hank letting Jesse die, IMHO, it is not much better than Walt wanting the 10 criminals (who probably have killed others before or at the minimum destroyed other families) dead. Walt is obsessed with being "the one". Hank is obsessed with being the one to catch Heinsenberg. Both have problems. If Hank is any smarter or have more resources, I'm sure he will do whatever (even outside the law) to get him.
