Yea we should have drafted him, would love to have him, but not for the gazillion dollar contract that he has. McGee is an awesome prospect, and in the right system and environment he would / could be a dominant rebounder, shot blocker and very decent scorer on the break and around the basket. Would LOVE to have him in a Rockets uni. As I've mentioned in a previous thread, I believe that adding J Smoove and or G Wallace, with McGee & Dalembert with our scorers would give us the right balance to contend. Agree? Thoughts?
I would say, Iggy plus Dalembert, maybe losing AB, Scola or Hill, Budinger, a pick, an exception. I'm not saying that would be the deal, just that we can afford to lose those pieces. Of course, we'd have to resign Dalembert. Another defensive center would be OK, too. Maybe Mark Eaton.
Have you seen Iggy play this season? He really sucks. Can't even make 68% of his free throws. I don't think he's the answer. At least not for the amount of money he makes
