Big trade help I give: Demaryius Thomas Wes Welker I get: Calvin Johnson Denarious Moore Brian Hartline Very tempting, thoughts?
My roster Colin Kaepernick Demaryius Thomas Wes welker cj spiller stevan ridley lance moore Kenny britt eddie lacy Giovanni Bernard I figure I could flip one of my rbs for a solid number 2 wr
Can you get anyone beside Denarious Moore? That dude is terrible and with Pryor throwing it to him, he'll only catch a ball if it tips off of a defender first. But in general i like the move for Calvin. You'd be more set up for winning the playoffs than before. Basically one of your WRs need to step up into a WR2, or you have to find one in the waiver wire, or you need to package some bench players for one. I think that'd very doable over the whole season.
Maybe you could get one other WR and not take Hartline/Moore. Also, is this PPR? That helps Calvin a lot.
So tell me if i did okay after a week of trade talks it seems. I traded marshall/forte/green-Ellis/eman.Sanders and received dez/s.jax/mendenhall/ant.brown
Compared to the last time you gave us an update, this is a pretty lateral move. I like the deal, but you're not moving much forward. I like Antonio a lot more than Sanders so you move up there but the others are pretty close.
Got done with my 2nd Draft today. It was in a 8 team league. With the #1 pick, my roster consists of: 1. AP 2. Richardson 3. Graham 4. Vincent Jackson 5. Reggie Wayne 6. Steven Jackson 7. RG3 8. Jordy Nelson 9. David Wilson 10. Desean Jackson 11. Steve Smith 12. Jordan Cameron 13. Golden Tate 14. Blair Walsh 15. Baltimore D/ST The only thing I don't like is having only RG3 as my QB. I am excited about my RB depth. My intentions was to package a RB+WR to get a Green, or Megatron. What do you guys think?
I know. I'm thinking of going with McCoy recently. I keep hearing their OL is elite, and how the # of possessions will be insane. At the very least I need to get someone from Philly on my team, just to potentially be a part of something crazy. I just need a sure thing with my first pick. Ponder scares me, as does Harvin being gone (even though he only played half the games last year). Can Peterson continue to dominate with a stacked line?
Got done with my first draft today. It was a large league (16 team), so I don't feel like I did awful. I had the 13th pick: Alfred Morris RB Steven Jackson RB Vincent Jackson WR Matthew Stafford QB Torrey Smith WR Greg Olsen TE Kenny Britt WR DeAndre Hopkins WR Fred Jackson RB Jonathan Dwyer RB (this was stupid on my part) Andre Brown RB Nate Washington WR Heath Miller TE Jake Locker QB Buccaneers D/ST Adam Vinatieri K
I don't see a lot of upside with this team. All I really see is downside. With the 13th pick I would have probably taken the best qb available, hopefully brees, because in a 16 team league points are at an absolute premium so I suspect that qbs have tremendous value in that league.
yeah the good ones got taken relatively early on in the 1st round, but I was happy to go Morris/SJax with my first two. I think SJax will be solid in the ATL offense. And I think Stafford will be a lot better than last year considering all the injuries his weapons had
Just finished my draft, im not sure how I feel about it. I got caught waiting too long to take a rb and ended up just waiting it out rather than wasting a pick on a meh guy. I usually play the waiver wire well, ended up with Ridley and Morris last year who carried my rb load. I usually find my RBs later on and I've never finished lower than 3rd, so im not too concerned.
