I think Eto'o is a much better fit for Chelsea. Sticking Eto'o up top is a huge improvement over Ba and you can still use Torres off the bench. If it was Rooney, you're really just sticking a midfielder up top or you would take away playing time from a talented midfield.

Martinez is now sitting on the bench because he refuses to play as CB, and rightfully so. Bayern looks like a shadow of Jupp's team, even after they've strengthened the team with great players since last season's end. They won this Supercup on Ribery's inspiration alone.
If that's the case, please by all means send him back to Can Barca. Btw, everyone and their mother (minus Madrid probably) stalked him for over year to come coach their team but I'm sure you know more than all those other people who do this for a living.
