Cierre Wood, one penalty away from 13 carries for 133 yards. Officially, 12 carries for 94 yards and 3 receptions for 29 yards. I'm just saying.
Man, the quality of some of these guys playing tonight, I honestly feel bad for Kubiak and Smith, tough decisions a head. I'm surprised Chris Jones is out there and seemingly playing well... why couldn't he just stay injured for roster purposes like Bonner?
Bobby Mac: Depth - never had it before. Big stage - we have to pick it up. Young receivers look good. Griffin is a player. We know Hopkins can play. We have depth there that we haven't had. Ed Reed - confident; he's in great physical condition. Hopefully next week he'll start practicing. Gary won't bring him along too fast. He's been through this before. He knows what to expect. I think he'll be ready. We have a number of young fellas. Chris Jones - 6th round pick is looking good; one of several who looks like they can play. Reed for the secondary will allow them to play with more confidence. Brian at LB, he fires everyone up. J.J. will be himself regardless. Bouye will be a player too. Gary likes him. He has a lot of talent. Runs good, aggressive, good tackler and good hands. He's a keeper. We need a lot of DBs. We do a lot of man coverage. We need guys who can run and tackle and he's one of them. Gameday still the same. I love to see the players and the way they come together and lean on each other. We have that, everyone trusts each other. That's important. If you can trust the guy next to you, you only have to do your job. Then you can be more aggressive and play with more confidence. It makes a difference. Cierre Wood - tough one there. We all want to take that next step. It's like Kubiak said, we want everybody to ask whether we can take that next step because that means we're right there. Hopefully we do take that next step. I can't wait that long(14 years, referring to Elway) I still think to be successful consistently, you need balance. That's what Gary believes in. This team will be able to do it. We have a lot of good young talent out there. Thankfully Gary makes the decisions and not me. These are tough decisions. (I know better to stay out of it.) If you can control the ball, that's it. Tate ran very hard; he's ready to go. I think Arian will be ready to go. Would have liked to seen him get reps here in preseason but he'll be ready to go. Let's hope we can keep having a lot of excitement for our fans. I'm ready.
Johnson tried to get out of the way of the punt and ended up running into instead. He hasn't been good on special teams. That shouldn't factor into whether he makes the team or not.
Karim had some good carries. Braman starts if Merciless doesn't. I think merciless will be ready though. I actually think Roc looks much improved. Harris has looked terrible though. Wouldn't mind seeing AJ jump both.
Why do they keep showing the preseason rankings? They lost the only preseason game that really matters.
