    August 30th at Reliant Stadium

    Time: 7:30
    Totals: n/a
    Spread: Coogs -40

Piland named the starter but freshman qb John O'Korn will play also.

So what you're saying is that if the Coogs played Southern and Rice at the same exact time, the line would be -65.

Unrealistic spread, low strength of schedule, here's hoping they don't hit the trifecta. Could they have at least scheduled TSU instead; at least make it a nice local thing? Speaking of that, we should also probably try to finally annex that campus.

thegreek.com has the spread at 40. I wouldn't touch that. Against Texas State last year I think it was 35 and we saw how horrible that went

If they lose, Levine should be fired after the game. High risk, low reward scheduling.

I swear if we lose to SU I would be pissed.

    That wont happen though.

    I got UH winning 45-10.

Sadly I can see our band getting killed by Southern's band Friday night. Im actuallly looking forward to that.

Keep an eye on Greenberry. Kid might be a 1st rd pick in 2015.

Not sure that's how guaranteed contracts at cash-strapped public unis work. Remember how long we kept Helton and Brooks? Parsons has gotta be clearing 500k an ep by now; maybe get him, Moores and the two or three energy CEOs who aren't Ag/Horns or Ivy transplants to kick in some cash for a new coach.

Yep. Cant wait for this season. Greenberry is going to explode. I could see him putting up 1,200 receiving yards and 10+ touchdowns this season. New OC is moving him to the inside to take advantage of ILB and nickle CB matchups.

Cant wait till Markeith Ambles play for us too. Levine said he should be ready for the Rice game.

Greenberry, Ambles, McDuffy is a damn good WR core regardless of who is QB for us.

Yes sir. McDuffy is small but similar to pat Edwards he has 4.4 speed. Wasn't Ambles a 5 star at USC and got kicked out?

Now if we can find someone to get these stud WR's the ball we might have a good offense again.

Go on the net and find the H.S. film of the OKorn kid (Florida). Your search will be over. I predict he will be starting before the season is over.

won't be able to attend the game due to a scheduled vacation but i am very excited to see what our WR group does this year. Too many dropped passes last year, so I'm expecting to see a lot of improvement from this group.

So will CSN or any other network carry the games? I'm tired of having to watch dingy online streams

Didn't bother going to a Cougar game for 2 years, and this is going to be my first game.

Can anyone tell me around what time I should be there? How does seating work for students? Parking?
