I'm pretty sure that Daryl Morey would be willing to pay Michael Beasley NOT to play for the Houston Rockets.

Don't worry Mark Cuban will sign him so he will be a thorn in our butts 4 times a year...

I wouldnt mind him in an instant offense role like jamal crawford off the bench for 20 minutes a night, if you say otherwise your nuts, the guy can get buckets.

I think being on a good team for once with veteran leadership can settle him down

This. The opportunity cost of signing Beasley (who would be a waste of a roster spot) is too great. Pass.

Can't wait to see him on the Lakers though!

Next headline about Beasley will be "Beasley to be waived by human race".

IMO, Beasley is a bigger disappointment than even Darko Milicic. The difference between the two is that I, for one, would much rather see Darko on the Rockets than Beasley.

Waiting for the thread to pop up in the GARM. :p

Should the Rockets sign/go after Beasley?

I think this guy still has talent, he just need the right role models to bring it out of him.. If he landed on the Rockets (for cheap) backing up CP25 or a stretch 4, I wouldn't complain

I'd be more excited to see the Vipers sign him. It would make watching/following the Vipers far more entertaining. Especially now that Royce White and the bang bus are gone.

This guy has serious talent and the ability to score. Dallas, San Antonio , Memphis or Miami would be a good fit for him if he plays the small forward position, he can be a poor man's LeBron. He's gonna get another chance but I don't want him in this team

Some of the best players have had personality issues/anger problems at some point...

We just don't hear about it.

Beasley is talented and could flourish under the right environment. Which player WAS'NT disgruntled in Phoenix? Those players would flat out tell the media that they were unhappy.

It's not an excuse to act like a Dbag, but I think Beasley wants to win and contribute, and when he can't, he flips out on and off of the court.

I think he's the type you could take a little risk on...

Doubt Morey bites...but he would produce more than many of the guys on our roster.

The problem with this guy isn't on skills or talent. It's because he's on drugs. Once you're hooked, you're almost hooked for life unless you will yourself out of it. What a waste of talent... Maybe if Pastor Lin can have some effect on him...
