Oh boy, 1-1 vs. Freiburg. The first big mistake made by Guardiola. I don't know what he was thinking. I mean, 7 new players in the starting eleven? Seriously? Rotating is important, especially if you have so many good players, but that's just too much. Don't get this wrong, a new coach must be given time to implement his system and style of play, but so far, Guardiola hasn't really impressed me too much. Today, it was just bad. I mean, around the 60th minute, I was like "WTF are they doing?". Neuer, Dante and van Buyten were basically just passing the ball around, it was ridiculous. And then, of course, Kroos blows the chance to put Bayern up 2-0. This is the first time in a very long time I'm really pissed after a Bayern match. We'll see how they do on friday.
Special moment yesterday. Giuseppe Rossi, after suffering back to back ACL injuries, scored is first goal in almost 2 years. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/1FRgFy9DulA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Hopefully he can return to his former form, as a Balotelli-Rossi striker partnership could be massive for Italy in Brazil 2014.
Bit pissed, seems that Pep undervalued Freiburg and places stupid Supercup and Mou above the league. Still dislike the 4-3-3, we had the best 6s in the world paired up, crushing every opponent and Pep messes with the system.
Glad to get a point at Old Trafford. Mou is ruthless, his football isn't pretty but it wins. Playing no striker against Man Utd meant he wanted a draw and he got it. Hope he's not messing with Mata though, he should have been on the field. For the last 2 seasons Mata has been one of the best players.
PSV v AC Milan, Part 2 today on Fox Sports 1. AC Milan obviously the favorites at home, but they also suffered a loss to a terrible team this weekend, so anything can happen. Excited for the game!
Mou will probably sit, demoralize and devalue him and piss off every Blue fan the entire season. Or as I call it, Mou gonna Mou.
Seriously. Schurrle poked pretty useless on the pitch and Mou kept Mata out? Mata and Hazard need to play together for Chelsea to have a decent offense without a real striker.
I've been very unimpressed by Mata so far this season. Not a Schurrle fan either but Van Bruyne and Van Ginkel have impressed more.
Bale and MR has sure managed to muck this up lol. All I hear on talksport is how overrated and a diva Bale is. Neymar looks like a bargain.
didn't barcelona already pay like 35 million for exclusive negotiation rights for Neymar. Including that plus his 57 mil transfer fee...not much of a bargain.
And when you factor in Bale has proven against top flight competition that he is the man whereas Neymar still has some question marks playing in the Brazilian league, I would say Neymar is the bigger gamble.
And they were a very unimpressive 65 I guess I've just been impressed by Van Bruyne/Van Ginkel and think they deserve time which would have to come from someone, hopefully mainly from Schrulle or the people like Ba.
The transfer fee was €57 million. There are rumors of "rights" but that's not been proven as legit. I also think Neyamr is twice as maketable than Bale. Barcelona now has the best player in the Americas behind Messi. Not to mention Brazil is an emerging market.
Neymar's contract was expiring this year, Bale was under contract for the next 3 season. €57 millions for a guy Barcelona could've had for free the next summer. Quite a bargain.
I mentioned the marketability of Neymar the driving force of the signing. He's a world class name right now. Bale is not.
