Congrats to Tracy for a memorable career.

I would like the newer users to read about his tenure in Houston.

Here's a great article written from the very best. I'll include some inserts, but you should click on it and
    read the whole thing.

    Cheers!

man shut up dude..let it go.

tmac was awesome, he gave us alot of hope and alot of good memories.

its too bad that when we finally had our championship team together..he went down..then yao. (year 2008)

either way from the 13 n 33, 22 game wining streak, all the games where he worked his magic...nets game, mavs games, lakers game winning layup, bucks game, sonics game,...just so many games where he just "decided" to take over and lead us to victory.

tmac was awesome. you are just a hater.

Probably the worst poster on the GARM

just goes to show how meaningless "rep" is around here

I'm posting an article written by a member of Clutchfans for new users to read and old users to remember such amazing journalism. This is why we read Clutchfans instead of ESPN or Bleacher Report.

I'm not hating on his writing, I actually am praising it.

A good way to introduce all the new users to why we joined this place, why we get honest and factual articles by the absolute best.

rep is not meaningless. it is given by your peers.

we're all measured with the same system.

I agree, He is (in fact) one of the few rock solid HOUSTON Rocket fans on this board.

This article by Clutch should be required reading.

Only Tinman would care enough to piss on a guy while he is walking out the door forever.

By far the worst poster in Clutchfans history, drastically brings down the quality of the forum. Offers no insight or discussion of anything basketball related unless it serves to directly or indirectly disrespect posters or players. Has the audacity to dictate to Rockets fans who they are allowed to be fans of. Somehow even with him on ignore it is impossible to escape his drivel.

Tinman is the absolute worst thing to happen to this forum. LOF's are bad, but atleast they will be gone when he is.

I'm pretty new to CF but the options for his poll are what said to me "This guy is a ****ing tool."

I second this statement. Great article. Not the first time I've read it and it always rings true. Wish things didn't go south so fast with tracy but I am happy those days are over.

It's not forever. Tracy just said himself he may go back to China to play. Truthfully, I think Tracy walked out the Rockets door in that Toronto game like the article says for true Rockets fans. However, I do wish Tracy well on his journey.

It is forever - he's not good enough to play in the NBA any longer.

Did the Toronto game piss me off? Of course it did. Was so disappointing to see he lacked professionalism and character. But geez, that was 8 years ago. 8 years man.

T-mac was already done. The guy wasn't healthy, wasn't playing well, and was frustrated. He had microfracture surgery - you don't do that unless you feel something isn't right. He was done. Could he have wound down his career on better terms - yes. Absolutely. I wish he had. But he didn't. Doesn't matter at the end of the day, he physically wasn't half the player without the explosiveness and that was that.

At some point, you just let it go.

This is how I feel about it also.

I wonder how Tinman will respond when he eventually gets in the HoF.
