yeah I don't get why people don't go park there. guaranteed immediate, covered parking w/ my economy pass.
Glad someone brought it up. I transferred to UH this semester, so still getting used to it. I had a class at 1 yesterday I couldn't attend because I couldn't get a parking spot. I got there at 12 and couldn't find a single spot. I mostly lurked at the lots next to the spur and University Dr. though. Where else should I go? Got commuter btw.
Commuter permit is pretty much worthless unless you have super early or late classes. You're a lot better off doing the ERP parking.
Same thing happened to one of my friends. You either have to show up earlier or park at ERP I have commuter too and there were people circling the parking lot when I left at 12.
the first 2 weeks of school they don't give tickets to students so its a free for all basically. It will calm down soon but since your class is at the peak time for parking you will still have to get there an hour early just to be sure.
I always found it easier to find parking by the art and music building. If i had to walk more, so be it, at least i knew how long it would take me to walk.
Yeah, I don't mind the walking so much, just as long as I can get a spot. I will definitely be looking forward to winter though. Next question is, you get there early enough to get a parking spot, but what do you do to keep busy until class starts? Lol
Back in my day we had to park behind Robertson Stadium. And the lot wasn't paved. And we had to fight crackheads. And we liked it.
eat. go to the rec. Do hw due for your 1 pm class Btw, you ever sell those clutch city dvd's? I might be interested.
Not UH, I got to UT, but I use a shuttle bus. Conveniently located right in front of my apartment complex. What are UH's public transportation options?
I'm sorry that you bought commuter since it's worthless now due to construction. As others have said before me, the only 2 options you should consider is the economy parking, or garage. I love garage parking because every time I get inside my car it doesn't feel like 110 degrees
I've been perfectly fine with walking to classes so far. It was not fun walking in the rain the past few days though
If your bike is stolen, just follow her lead: Woman steals own bike back from thief Kayla Smith of Vancouver discovered her stolen bike on Craigslist, arranged to meet seller and asked if she could test ride it; she then rode off with bike Link
This semester is going to be fun, I actually have some good looking girls in my classes for once. TYBG
Meh i just usually drop the 400 on the garage parking, it well worth it for me. It usually takes me no more than 2 minutes to find parking and its near the engineering building so i'm good to go. The amount of gas i'd spend looking for parking would pay the garage pass in it self, i consider it a smart investment.
I got to Campus at 10:30 for a class I have at 11:30. I checked every single parking and it had 30+ people waiting for each spot. Eventually I had to settle for Energy Research Parking and I got to class right as it ended.
