So was Yao Ming, but he never quit on the Rockets or threw people under the bus or burnt bridges with every team he goes to.

Nobody misunderstood him, only stupid people couldn't see who he is and couldn't see the pattern emerging.

Even dumber people couldn't see the difference between him and Kobe.

In tmacs prime he was arguably better than kobe. Look at some of these highlights tmac dominated:

Lucky for players is that when they "retire" it isnt a ban.
I'm sure if a team gives him a call he will be there.
Brandon Roy, Rasheed Wallace. Michael Jordan.
Just a few names that come to mind that have retired and gave it another shot.

i hope when he comes back he plays for us. If he has to sit at the end of anybodys bench i want it to be ours.

    "If" he comes back.
Decent bench player that can hit shots and if he wants he can be a defensive stopper. Not bad.
    But put it this way:
Your beautiful ex girl gives up on your relationship. Then you get a huge house and she wants back. Do you give her a chance?
I think Morey wont do it for the principle.

I was talking about his career pattern not his skill level, but I do realize every time I see you here, your reading comprehension is intentionally worse.

oh yeah that's why we traded for him, his skill.

    too bad we didn't understand:
    leadership
    love of the game
    attitude

"Lack of" according to you, maybe, but not imaginary.
TMac did accomplish to be a 2 time scoring leader. Something only 1 player a year wins.
    2 time 1st team.
    3 on 2nd team and 2 on 3rd team.
While being a 7 time all star.

    Not exactly lacking.

No doubt he was talented and no doubt he did put up some monster numbers but the reality was, he was not a winner.

He was not that guy who went above and beyond to make his team better. He was not that guy spending countless hours working on their game like the above guys I mentioned do/did (not saying he never worked hard to get what he did get, saying he could have been so much more than what he was). He is not that guy playing for Team USA during the summers to help his country win international play while improving his game. He may have been one of the greatest talents to have ever played the game but he is nowhere near the greatest players.

If it were only about reading comprehension and career patterns...

If you shut up for a while, you won't waste energy. But I guess you're a
bot and you can repeat that crap over and over again. That is your pattern.

Career is fine with me.... 9th taken in the draft, 16 years, had less injuries than Grant Hill. Playoff success is the cherry on top.
    Howard said it- accomplished man
