I think Jesse will either see Holly, or see Holly's stuff, and then realize that burning down the house will harm another kid, which he really doesn't want to do now. So he leaves but begins to make plans to team up with Hank.

Also may tie into season 4's episode titled "Problem Dog"

Correct. Walt legitimately views Jesse as a second son.. A huge tell to that that a ton of people forget about is when Walt accidentally calls Walt Jr. "Jesse" in season 4.

Right after Walt and Jessie have the huge falling out fight with punches thrown (Jesse kicks his ass). Walt takes too many pain meds while in his underwear. Walter jr has a bday the following day, gets the crappy PT cruiser from his mom, and goes to visit Walt at his condo.

No doubt WW considers Jessie "family".

To bad he lies and manipulates his family the hardest of them all.

At least they don't get axed...

Yes, he episode is "Salud", the same one where Gus, Mike, and Jesse go to Mexico and Gus poisons Don Eladio.

Doubtful, the 'problem dog' from that episode was Jesse's story to AA about murdering Gale. Instead referring to him as a dog that he just decided to kill.

Interestingly though that was also the episode the ricin was made.

    Agreed
Also I think the audience sees more of themselves in Walt that some would admit to.
They could see themselves going down this course
and Walt basically trouts very conservative ideals of Family, Integrity etc etc
while running over all of them

This isn't some 'other' that they can dismiss as being bad the whole time
this is someone that is like them.

Some Odd reason I think Walt Jr would think it was cool.
He'd probably relish the idea of being Sonny Carleone

Dude, this whole situation was created because Walt chose to protect Jesse.

1.) Pinkman was stealing from the lab...Gus knew, Walt warned him.
2.) Walt would still be cooking for Gus if he had not killed Fring's dealers...an act to protect Jesse as Pinkman was hellbent on murdering them for using children (the death of "Combo").

The killing of Gale was a necessity @ that point & that's when the rift w/Gus developed. Freakin' Jesse. Idiot.

I think it would have happened eventually. Walt did all of that stuff because he saw the potential/had an opening for him to become the new drug lord. Jesse maybe accelerated the process, but Walt had one goal to accomplish once his ego had grown, which was to replace Gus.

I kind of thought the same thing. It seems like the TP paused for a split second but then they do a quick cut. They don't go out of their way to show it getting definitively stuck. But they also don't show it completely flushing either. Not sure how anyone would find a piece of TP with a drop of blood on it in a random roadside diner bathroom and connect it a murder but who knows?

wow, good call. I bet this happens, at least the part about Jesse not burning down the house. I'm still not sold on him helping Hank.

I think Jesse will handle everything by himself. It will be the rise of Jesse to once again (like first season) to be more street smart than the high school teacher. Jesse's going to get him, not Hank.
